Club Fruitopia.
Utterly boring, tedious shite.
Then it stopped working, just as I was about to move it on, so I scrapped it. I got another incomplete one a year or so later and scrapped that too.
I may deserve some sort of award for permanently removing two of these monstrous abortions from the face of the earth?

Barcrest Chances Unlimited.
Yes, my beloved Barcrest MPU3 techniology managed to produce a right dud with this baby. I put hundreds through these back in the day in the vain hope that they would start to pay out to reach their percentage, but never seemed to manage to turn one around. It was atrociously tight. What were Barcrest thinking of - take, take, take then flash up a question mark in the nudge matrix sqaures and give the played 5 random super series, which invariably paid out £1.60, just over the token limit. The gambles were truly viscious, £1 rarely going to £1.50 and that oh so tempting £2 gamble for the win £1, lose £1 choice - how often did that go down to £1. The really cruel part of that £2 gamble was the sound was awesome when it worked, actually encouraging you to do it; if you haven't I suggest you load it up into the emulator ande see what I mean. I would have loved to have loved this machine, it was the latest in a long line of MPU2 / MPU3 based machines that just seemed to get better and better, yet suddenly the wheels came off the wagon with this one.
The bizarre thing is that however much I hate the thing I still play it on the emulator and would still play it in arcades if I frequented those establishments these days, which I don't. So, how nuts am I to play one of my most hated. Go figure as they say in america.

A JPM G Force on 5p play.............................................. I actually left it once with a quid in because it was just boring.
Casino Crazy Fruits on 10p play is pretty bad, when its on one it will streak for £50-£55 though! But thats once in a blue moon!
Pretty much any empire from about 97 to 06, Blocking constantly at about £1.80, force and force and force and force £80 down the back of a few dollors more for ONE £5 jackpot then flat.

The most boring one I ever owned was a system 5 JPM Rythm,N, Blues if I remember rightly? Every time it was a fiver up, it would pay out 4.80 and was very predictable and boring.
In the wild, there have been loads of bad ones, but I think the worst one I ever played, was a 5 Pound cops & robbers type game (Empire?) that I played all afternoon once in Matlock, and I lost over 100 Pound without a jackpot!

These days it,s not just the dond machines that are shite they all are just take, take, take worst modern culprit for me is magic 7,s, or astra,s bullion bar type machines £2 on top board time n time again, all take no give like I also said over at mr p,s on tommy,s blackpool topic put over £60 in p time £5er didn,t even give a fiver went up top once for 2 quid. Earlier machines i mean mid 90,s machines seam to play a better game especially the jpm,s of that time. And with the new stakers/prizes coming in sometime things will get a lot tighter so I thankyou guys for sites like this to keep me happy in my old age

Crazy Fruits RED Version. This machine is utter crap, it doesn't do anything along the lines the GREEN one does, takes an absolute fortune to even start the feature, and even then after lighting up a few fruits, what happens? You hit bloody Tim the Tomato, thus ending the game. Hate it

Anything Maygay when it came to Epoch technology!
What a complete load of shite.
Whoever made them needs to be shot.
Look at the 2nd Italian Job for example, always breaking down, extremely intermittent technology and minds of their own, bulbs lit up
all over the place when you don't even have the feature for example and generally a complete mess.
Have owned 3-4 epoch machines, not one ever worked properly
no matter what you tried to do.
NEVER again!
