locate your .ram and .gam files in the layout folder and overwrite them with the happy .ram and .gam

Depending on which layout you have, you may need to rename the RAM file as well. Locate the current RAM file for your layout, and rename the happy one to exactly the same name. Then delete the old RAM and replace with the happy one. It's usually a good idea to go to the Recycle Bin and completely delete the old RAM too.

hmm, could do with some feedback as to the club sandwich happy file i uploaded in the post above..
before i posted it it was giving me guaranteed JP on the feature every time (club flashing) and id turned down the JP many times. after uploading the files i went on and got the JP straight away.. i then reloaded the file from the link above and although its showing £453 In £0 out i cant get a JP out of the thing :(

Downloaded it last night - got jackpot after about £40 in. Skill nudges with the JP 4 nudges away. The RAMs don't always play consistently - even on the happiest RAM it might take £1 or £20 to drop.

Not sure if its exactly a "happy" ram but this has started to give reasonable boards £40+ on the bottom over 100 on the top board and on a previous ram had 250 out of it on £860 in £400 out, this one,s at £1265 in £343 out so shouldn,t be to long although these empire,s seem very tight early dond's i guess lol. let us know if anyone's jack-potted this with little extra going in.

Finally, after more than £2,000 in, Club Coronation Street has given in. It's been a complete nightmare, but I wasn't gonna be beat by a crappy soap opera.

You may need to play £40 or £50 through, but it does eventually go. If you can hi lo past £25 you're probably going all the way.

[edit] No worries, found it on the Mecca :D

Any chance you could link to the 1600DX layout on 25p/£250 as I can't see one hosted on here, I've downloaded the Classic version but it's 20p/£250, and would love a 1600DX for my 1200p screen upstairs, ta :)

Here's the release thread for others that want to download it - wierd that it doesn't show up on search.

After replacing the RAM file you are probably as well pressing F12, which should force the emulator to accept the details. That should change the meter values to the ones from the happy RAM.

RAM is RAM, no forcing of details is necessary. I agree with pressing F12 though, simply to make sure you have loaded the correct RAM (although as long as you replace the original it shouldn't be a problem!)
