Seeing as how I'm only 18, don't expect anything from before 1995!
1) Monty Pythons Flying Circus [one of the few machines I've found to be damn entertaining, even on £5/10p!!]. Excellent sampled sound, quite a frequent IM, 'fair' knockouts [i.e NOT always the bottom wins available], pretty fair on lining up Seventh Heaven as well!
2) Spiker the Biker [because hes about 2m away and if I don't list it here it'll break down!! - plus, I always liked it in pubs!]. I like the idea of a Superboard that can't kill you, and it used to respond well to forcing. Plus I liked the theme, and it was never cloned, which must be a good sign!
3) Red X / Nitro / Hypalinx / any other clones, although these are the only ones I've played. Quite a basic method to playing them, nice fast gameplay, and plenty of features, with red choices, and 3 Xs to keep you entertained - plus the old emptier [I never fully emptied one, but I believe it was possible :S]

4) Crazy Fruits - I only list this one because of the theme and sounds e.t.c, IMHO it plays like crap on the majority of occasions but at 5p a go you get plenty of play for your money! Plus there was that emptier - I was never brave enough to try it, but it was the £300 win from a £5 JP machine one. I guess it could be possible - I once took £13 from Stag Nite [another BFM?, Pinball Wizard clone], only for it to move the win 1 place to the right and pay out £1.30 :S
5) This is probably going to sound like a mad choice, but theres a machine in Bridlington, I believe it to be an MDM machine, which was 2p with a £3 JP, possibly called 'Buckaroo'. All things considered, gameplay was reasonable [on 2p it'll always be a bit flat], but more importantly, £5 gave a good 30 mins play. That alone makes it my 5th place. Sounds and stuff were good enough. Only problem I had was it had a 2p hopper, and when it tried the £1 hopper to pay out my JP and found nothing [odd as I was playing with £1 coins!], it dumps a £3.60ish bank of 2ps!

496) Jackpot Junction - I like these BFMs as much as I like Big Cheese by Barcrest. No offense, but 16 nudges on machines I like is normally a good fiver, NOT £1.20. Oh, also blocking the vast majority of boards at £2, giving 3 ? squares in a row, and loads of other crap. I hope the designers are pleased with themselves!!!
497) Stir Crazy - Saw a friend put £97 in with no more than £3 offered at any point. I thought the card reel was going to fall off [How could a card mech make so much bloody noise!!!]. Why why why was that machine ever released?!
498) Pie Factory - controversial one this. I know loads of people like these machines, but its the only machine I lost £75 in 2 nights in a row, around the back. That 'method' left them totally dead, for that whole £150 it never ONCE offered more than £2 on the board. Inexcuasable, hence 498th place

. Infact, I'll include all other Vivids here. It wouldn't be fair to have them take up the bottom 3 places

499) Tetris, I think it was Mazooma. Never had any luck on it. I mean, I had Pie Factory go Red on several occasions, but never got ANYTHING out of damn Tetris. I've had people telling me it was the best machine ever made - I know people on here may well say that its amazing, but I hated it. Interesting sound effects though. Thats all that keeps it from number 500

500) Difficult choice this one, but I'm going to plump for £5 JP Multiplayer Monopoly by Mazooma. I would have chosen Party Time, but as I've never played one it wouldnt be fair of me to judge it. All I know is that I played £50 through a £5 JP machine, and had about £7 in the bank, I then put that £7 in on Autoplay, and got a JP which held for £10. Then it sucked that straight back. I mean, what was the point of the bloody top board?! I would have thought that £50 into £5 would have given the top board. Nope, always one nudge away. Inexcusable. Nothing at all can redeem that machine. There may be FAR worse machines around, but, as I said above, I am only 18 and haven't got loads of experience on them, but thats the worst I have played!
Quick disclaimer - I'm sorry that the 3 of the bottom 4 machines machines are Mazoomas, but I think their modern machines are better [although I don't play them anymore anyway

].
TBH the machines I've classed as my Top / Bottom 5 could be shuffled about, that is, I'm not sure about their positions in the top / bottom 5, but they are among the best / worst 5 I've played. Also, I bet people will reply and say 'But you didn't play such and such machine properly, thats why you hate it but I ownz it and I take out £97 a night by sitting on peoples shoulders blowing smoke into their faces'...and thats fine. People are entitled to their opinions, feel free to comment, but try not to say 'Its amazing because I played it once for 10 seconds and got £100 out' or something similar. A good machine shouldn't play happily for one night of the year.
Oh, and sorry about the long post, but I'm bored!!
