Excellent choice, although I fear most members here wouldn't have been born when this was around.

A very tough choice... I'll have to go with some manu/tech combos instead. ;)

2. PCP (MPS) Test Pilot, Blue Streak, Maxima
3. PCP (System 1) Hi-Lo Bingo
4. BWB (MPU3) Goldmine, Rat Race
5. PCP (MPU3) Spoof, Rock Pile

1> Jiggin' in the Riggin (played a real one in Blackpool last week - all lamps worked and it paid out too considering it was a beach front arcade!)
2> Oxo
3> Monopoly (the new Party play jobba)
4> Test Pilot (always had a bag of 2p's for this old favourite)
5> Treasure Island

'Course when I was a kid I used to love these old one arm bandits that cost 1p to play. I used to stand for hours with my bag 'o pennies.

Ol' times...... lol

Have just played this on the emulator, nice 2 see it again. As a curio, what was the coconut shy emptier, this one I never knew. Free win or something? Since it is so old, I didnt think anyone would mind me asking.

Blimey.. I thought with all you ex players / skill freaks then someone would mention Hotshot and Ceasars Palace, can't believe non of my favs are here so had to mention them !

So easy to win, I could tell if it was ready after £2 and sometime they would just keep going and going

1) Hotshot - NEVER lost more than £3 in one of these, won about 95% of the time...reeeeeel em in !
2) Ceasars Palace - could be a bit bitchy even when ready, but similar to hot shot, and won about 80% of the time..don't be shy give it a try !
3) I cant remember the name - think it was called Lucky for Some.. it had money bags as cashpot, and JP was £10,, but had a good £50 streak, was maygay... so easy to see if it was ready.. if the cashpot was at £10 just hold one cashpot,, when the machine kind of thought/paused for like half a second before continuing the spin then it was ready.. after 3 or 4 times holding one cashpot another would spin in and they would both hold and it would come in,,, sometimes repeat 4 times.. but if not then its on the streak and you will get about 4 JP or big wins
3) Double Cash - Astra.. old version..10/15 Jp..even when it was dead you could manipulate bars / jackpots,, 3 nudges could become 5 with the right set ups,, you would always get people nudging in 2 jackpots on the line and waiting to see if the one 2 away would nudge down by itself,, I used to watch and laugh when they did the set ups wrong.. I knew every set up.. emptied them loads of times, when they buzzed they were unreal for their time.. like £15 JP holding 5 times,, bars holding 15 times...got more difficult though as other people learnt the set ups,,
4) Streaker / Arcadia - easy to see if its ready within £2.. can take time.. but always knew within £2 if it was ready.. hmm will never have that feeling again.. knowing you were going to win, those days will never come back.. I luv you number 11 !!
5) Appollo 9,, had a great streak,,, got done a few times on this but loved playing it because you always thought the streak was around the corner.. booooostttt to over a fiver and you were in.

1. Club Psycho Cash Beast - Heartbroken when I bought one of these on eBay, only for them to break the glass and give me a broken Monty Python's Flying Circus Club.

2. Clown in around - I'm lucky enough to have one of these at a holiday park I frequently go to.

3. Big Brother (3 reel and 4 reel) - Lucky enough to own the 3 reeler, and also to have the club big brother at a place near me aswell, sadly it's gone now, after rolling in 3 jackpot's. :( Loved that machine.

4. Classic DOND - Granted, it can be a tight arse, but this is also at the holiday park I mentioned before, and plays very well.

5. Roller Coaster - Do I need to explain? CLASSIC.

Will probably update this when I think of more and move them about a bit, but off the top of my head, that's the list for now.

Top 5 all time...

1) Screen Play. Hidden features, trivia questions, find the knight. Classic M1a stuff. Unique.

2) The Crystal Maze - A harsh game, but one which had me tearing my hair out and losing money time and time again. I'm not getting good confused with profitable, but this machine would sucker me back in again and again. Classic stuff.

3) Caeser's Palace - Another classic game, nay, the definitive hi/lo game that suckered me a few times on the p7, but was an entertaining game.

4) Duff Beer Guide - A machine that stood head and shoulders above the rest. Whilst its counterparts were killing on 2s and 11s because a win over £3.60 was there, this one had the flexibility of older games. Cracking sound effects.

5) Supa Vault - An old JPM that was synonymous with the Action Cash era of machines. An often neglected example of what I thought was the pinnacle of this era. genuine skill gambles to a point and very playable.

There are many more that deserve a machine, but that's my quick selection.

To get in the top 5 we're looking for playability, pupularity, presentation and value across all skill levels of punters.

Bottom 5

1) Deal or no Deal - Can you beat the banker?
£8-£13 for a board that pays £1-£3. What's all that about? I much prefer the 4 reel or what's in your box? CYBTB? is absolute pap though.

2) 8 Liner - Thank God s16s are illegal. This machine was atrocious.

3) Chuzzy Conversion kit (MEGA NUDGER prog. 9.4?) - LED displays 96% - yeah might as well display 1251425142% as it sure as hell pays out to about 78%. A dire con. Avoid.

4) £5 Jackpot Gems (Red Gaming) - a machine that streaks for £15 max, yet takes about £10 a board. Come on bowling alley - this is pure dross.

5) Jackpots that Rock 'n Roll - can be an entertaining game for sure, but that losing first gamble is Sooooooooo annoying, it has to end up here.
@_!!
