Open wherever you extracted the installer to. Delete the folder called Temp. Now run the installer. Sorry. Its trying to create a folder called temp when it already exists.

People getting the digital sound error can you elaborate on your OS Name and number of Bits please.

Also what sound hardware are you using.

Also please check to see if there is a file called Bass.dll in your system32/SysWOW64 folder. If there isn't that's why.

Also did you run the installer in admin mode.

All OK so far Guitar (W7 x64) - just need a layout or two.

I ran it in fullscreen first time. The 'thanks' bit goes on for a while. When I chose PLAY and found no layouts I couldn't navigate back to the main menu so I shut it down in task manager.

The second time I didn't choose fullscreen and then I had the menu bar across the top so I could exit properly.

It looks very professional I must say. The user interface looks good. You need to be able to navigate back from the layout menu though.

Will there be some layouts coming along tonight?

I am looking forward to trying out the layout creator for myself at some point :)

You need to exit the emulator if you want to get back to the first screen where the graphic options/resolutions are, from the layout selection screen. If you exit a running game, it will put you back to the layout selection screen.

You have to put something in the username and password field, and then click offline.

Just leaving username and password blank and ticking offline doesn't work for me, nothing happens when you click launch.

Had me stumped for a while that one lol ! :)

Vista x64 (had to override the detection as expected)

Looks smart.

That's going to annoy the f*** out of people I reckon :D

Imagine running PA and then choose LAYOUTS instead of CREATE - you've then got to exit and load it up again and go through the lenghty start-up. Would have been good to be able to just go back to the main menu.

I assume on later builds you'll be able to click through the 'thanks' part instead of waiting?

Yes that bamboozled me for a moment as well :)
