As the title says, I can remember another BWB fruit machine, very similar in style to Blues Brothers, with a Camelot & King Arthur Theme to it.
It had Morgana as a witch it in, and there was a chalice in the feature… but the bloody name escapes me… unless it was called Arthur’s Camelot?
If anyone remembers which one I am on about, can they mention it here please, and then we could be informed if the Roms and a layout is available for it.
Ta in advance!

No Tommy mate… this was definitely a Camelot and King Arthur theme machine, with Sir Lancelot’s Surprise as a feature, I am sure - it was definitely King Arthur, only his character seemed a kid in the fruit machine.
It is many years ago, but was released at the same time as BB, made by BWB too, I am sure of it, same reel symbols too, and hints, and a repeat win, streak if you were lucky! lol
Bugger my memory!!!

Cheers RH for the link, but none of them ring a bell with me at all, or put me in mind of the machine...
I am so angry with myself, because I know it isn’t Excalibur, but I do know it played exactly like the Blues Brothers, with repeat win feature for 3 of a kind in the boxes, the same coloured bar wins, the same coloured sevens, a beginning to end trail game, where Arthur sets off on his quest, being chased by Morgana, like the Blues Brothers being chased by the police...
… I just can’t remember what it is called — never mind — one day it may come to light! lol

Any news about Reel Thunder it was a great BWB machine from the late 90s ?

Pretty sure it was Excalibur, as Banditboy says. There was one on eBay a few weeks back. You used to go round a circular board and inevitably get f***ed by Morgana the Witch one square from the end or something. Not literally of course.
Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

Yes that is the one mate, but I have a BWB one called Excalibur on MFME3 and it definitely ain't that one! lol
I didn't know they had made two different machines with the same name... and completely different gameplay!
You live and learn... but the one I am on about, was definitely more entertaining than the Excalibur on MFME

Oh shit yes you are right Tommy!
All these manufacturer initials... BWB, MDM, JPM, BFM! lol
Yes Excalibur by BWB is the one I am on about... Got there eventually!
Do you think that this will be able to be a runner then in Amber? If Blues Brothers can run now, then hopefully this will be a goer too!

Talking of runners, did you ever get the sound problem on SBX sorted where the game locked up during the feature?

Yeah. Excalibur runs, but we've got nothing on it picture-wise.

Assuming the date is wrong in the latter post and it IS the same machine, I think Robert might be your auntie's husand.

Not yet, I look at it every so often, get nowhere, and do something else.
The following games now run
Crazy Cobra's on M1 needs a layout.
QPS Red Hot Wheels on MPU4 needs a layout.
Most of the late BWB games need a layout. Volcano, VooDoo Express, SKy Sports, Heaven and Hell, Fire and Ice etc etc.

Ok well have had another look at Super Bear X.
At the beginning of the program it appears to be reading from the Characteriser and storing some values. Its entirely possible that the values read are setting addresses or similar for the sound. The game doesn't appear to have a CHR but that may not be the case.
If someone has a bear-x machine i can get decent pictures of, or better yet read the characteriser, i can probably get it going.
