Hi Ive Seen On Ebay Someone Local To Me Is Listing A Sub Zero - Spare/Repair As A (Opt Out 1.00 Alarm 01)

I Know Its The Err Alarm Is Aimed At The Sensor On Hopper/Faulty HopperIve Met The Guy & Sceems Genuine Honest Guy .. Knows His Stuff
Was Very Busy With Other Machine's - Didnt Wanna Keep Him

He Said Worst Comes To Worst If Its Not The Case Of Buying New Data Eproms For The Machine Or Having Them Reflashed

While I Was There He Put A Hopper In From Another Working Machine (Error Then Came Backup)
Swapped Main Board - Still Error Came Up -
Swapped The Game Cartage & Eproms - But Error Still Occoured
Also Tryed A Power Supply - He Said He Doupt This Would Be A Cause But Changed It To Rule That Out Totally

Our Last Theory Is - Eproms Are Faulty

NOW This Is Where Im Looking For Ether Replacement Eproms Or Someone Who Can Reflash These ...

If I Win This & Machine Go For A Good Price I May Invest In It & If I Carnt Get Eproms Strip The Unit For Spares
But Is In Very Good Condition :)

Cheers Guys

i know he tryed another
working power supply so dont think this is causing fault
but will see if i can meet up before listing ends and see if hes resolved it

but im guessing you found the fuse to be at fault on your machine ??

It got sent back to the company, I never looked into it as it was still in its warrenty but im 99% certain it was the 34v on the MUX board. Is the 34v lit on the MPU?

i've never known eproms to cause a hopper error but as cardie says it could be the mux board if everything has been changed.

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum, so hello to all.

I think this Sub Zero machine is the one I won on e-bay the other day ( suffolk area ). I'd just like to update anyone who is keen to learn what is causing the problem. I can confirm the Mux Board is not causing the "opt 100p alm 01" error, on this machine.

I already have a Red Gaming "X-rated" machine, in full working order. I have tried the Hopper, PSU & Mux Board from this machine in the Sub Zero machine, and still the "opt 100p alm 01" appears within seconds. One thing I've noticed on the MPU5 Board, is that the +24v L.e.d goes out when this error occurs, also, the status L.e.d constantly flashes one green & one red. I'm waiting on a new MPU5 Board to be delivered next week, so I'll be back soon with another update on this issue.

Another issue with this machine is, when you have both doors closed, the machine at startup, tries to payout £1, "I.O.U £1 call attendent" or similar is displayed. Should this machine be doing that?

Thanks in advance to all who may reply.

Hi guys,

I couldn't wait for the new MPU5 Board, so I tried the one from my X-rated machine, its happy days, the machine has been running for hours now, without any problems.

I have taken the outer case off the MPU, that came with the Sub Zero machine and just above the payout connections, at component locations "CBAR1" "TR34" "TR33" "TR32" "TR31" you can smell burning, so taking a guess, I'd say a component at one of these locations is causing the "OPT 100P ALM 01" error.
