File Name: Criss Cross Crazy DX
File Submitter: ploggy
File Submitted: 23 Apr 2012
File Updated: 23 Apr 2012
File Category: Project Amber

Here's another DX for Amber for you all to have a play with. It's a DX for a Coinworld lo-tech machine called Criss Cross Crazy. It'll be smaller than the BB DX because it's at my normal resolution of 1600x1200, so you should be able to see more of the playing area with this.

Huge thanks, again, to Guitar, for his help in getting this finished. And also SPA, for the photos that were used. :)

Shortcuts for this, are:

Cancel/Collect - `
Hold 1 - 1
Hold 2 - 2
Hold 3 - 3
Streak - S
Start/Gamble - Space
£1 Insert - 0

Like with BB, you'll need to extract the .pac file out of the 'Criss Cross Crazy DX.zip', and put it into the 'Layouts' folder, and you also need to extract the roms out of the 'Criss Cross Crazy Roms.zip', and put them into the 'ROMs' folder. Both the ROMs folder, and the Layouts folder are in the 'Libraries' folder.

Enjoy!

Nice water cooler Guitar, I have the new Zalman CNPS20LQ water cooler simular to yours but the pc system i just built was out of spare parts after upgrading my main pc, my main gaming pc specs are

Motherboard ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE Socket 1155.
C.P.U Intel i7 2700k Processor.
C.P.U Cooler Zalman CNPS20LQ Water Cooler.
Graphics Card Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5870 Over Clocked.
Memory Corsair Vengeance 16GB 1600Mhz DDR3 Ram.
Sound Card Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer - Fatal1ty Pro 7.1
Zalman ZM-MFC1 Fan controller.
Samsung 256gb SSD.
Seagate Barracuda 2tb HDD x2
Power Supply Seasonic 700watt.
Plextor Blu-ray Rom Reader & Writer DVD Rom Drive

I decided to build a 2nd system so effectively whenever i upgrade my main rig I'm upgrading 2 for the price of 1 instead of being left with parts i don't know what to do with, plus when friends or my kids come over i can still surf and not be unsocialable as my main computer is in my bedroom.

I love building systems now i have come along way as i knew very little before but learnt from friends etc now i can do a complete build on my own without needing expensive computer shop bills etc.

Nice system, does your gfx card overclock very well? I had 3 from sapphire and they all baulked at going much over 15MHz from spec, even the Vapor-X editions. Ive now got 2 HIS cards and they OC to the max CCC Tuner will allow on the GPU and just under the max on the RAM.

Btw with a system like that, and amber, tick FPS lock, set the tick box to hardware, select the dropdown box to HAL, leave intel option off.

You should find the cpu usage will drop to < 5% maybe lower. On mine it hovers around 1%, would be interested to know how much you are using.

I not yet got into overclocking been concentrating on building and upgrades etc but with the new asus boards overclocking is a breeze and i love the new style bios menu's, I do plan to get into over clocking tho and thanks for the tips regarding amber, i never really noticed how much usage my cpu operates with amber will have to check it out.

A few years ago i never even knew anything about the bios or even how to format a hdd in bios lol, i learn quick tho and enjoyed learning from friends etc, Lovin amber awesome emulator well done and thanks!
