Hello all,
I have recently dumped 'Wild Card' by Olympic Amusments, 1992 (1993?). All Dumps are good appart from the NVRAM. Data is stuffed because the battery has failed. Machine boots up but unable to play beacuse of version/checksum errors which is stored in the NVRAM.
Anyone keen to have a go at getting it emulated? Should be able to reverse engineer what details the program is looking for in the NVRAM and recontruct. I have the board in my possession at the moment so any other details are easily obtained.
R6511AQ CPU, MC6845P CRT controller, AY-3-8910A (inputs/outputs)
PM me for more details if you wish.
Cheers,
Bald_Noggin

Hi
Realise this is an extremely oldpost however im wondering if you sorted the problem you had with your wild card game. I have a widl card game with the same problem. Im not by any means an expert merely an owner of same game. Can you advise how/ where can i get the problem sorted?

Specialist brains are needed on this, so would suggest posting about the issue at MPU Mecca or Classic Reels (Andrew96 will be the one to talk to), and see if one of the hardware guys there can advise accordingly.
I've only just invested in a Rom reader / writer myself, so I am quite new to the world of faffing about with ROM's.
This is what I have just picked up.

Have had a couple of Willem Programmers over the years. They are ok, but very hit and miss.
Sometimes they will read and write just fine and others they drop errors into files for some reason.
