help me out someone!!

just reinstalled winxp pro...now mfme is using all processor time and running super slow...was fine before format and reinstall

tried playing with mgme options and priority no change

any ideas??

You haven't given me much to go on here but something has changed. If it was ok before and you are running the same layouts then this sounds like driver problems. Are you using newer drivers ? Are the drivers certified? Are there any other programs running ? Some layouts really do zap the processor !

ran a treat before...all hardware exactly same, athlon xp 2100+ so all layouts were fine before with no configuring...still win xp pro with sp1

only differences were norton av2003 (had 2002 before) uninst this but no difference, also ran windows update got some fixes etc that didn't have before including directx 9 (had 8.1 before i think)

gonna try booting in safe mode if i can work out how otherwise i'm stumped...tried changing priority but just uses 99% processor time as soon as i load any table, dx or classic, pc back to normal when i quit...

btw thanks for replying, this forum is pretty quiet didn't think anyone would!!
