Is that from the Simpsons Movie or a normal episode?
Forgive me if I am wrong but weren't the rules 'from a film'?

It's an episode "Bart sells his soul" but thought I would add it as it's on a fruit machine and there has been movie's for the Simpson's and it's a rare one so thought I would add it. Will ask todd to bend the rules a bit. but the song from eastenders was also not a movie unless I've missed it on the BBC.

OK , as its quite hard to find 'lines' from movies (i have been looking for ages) the rules have changed to include youtube clips with music samples from fruitys in them.

No really obvious ones please , like the Eastenders opening titles and the answer , this is from Eastenders..duhhhhh

Thanks Todd, this should be very interesting to see what people come up with now.

Sorry Robinhood, no offence was intended!

And didn't spot Eastenders in the beginning of the topic, you were right!

From Maygay's "Noel's House Party" hi-lo gamble..........
Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

Also, thread says 'well known' so I lose, just like I do when I play the crap lol

Thats the film playing on the TV in home alone, when culkin uses the dialogue to get rid of the hotel staff. I was reading the other day that its not a real film. It was done up for home alone. Wether thats true or not is a different story.

Angels with Dirty Faces is a 1938 American gangster film directed by Michael Curtiz and starring James Cagney, Pat O'Brien, the Dead End Kids and Humphrey Bogart, along with Ann Sheridan and George Bancroft. The film was written by Rowland Brown, John Wexley and Warren Duff with uncredited assistance from Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur.

A parody of the film appears in Home Alone as Angels with Filthy Souls. In the parody, the gangster Johnny fires a lengthy machine gun salvo before remarking, "Keep the change, ya filthy animal."
  • In Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, scenes from a sequel to that film, Angels with Even Filthier Souls. In the sequel, Johnny fires his Tommy gun before saying "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal. And a Happy New Year". In the two movies, Kevin uses the movies as an illusion to make others think that they were talking to Johnny, and that he was shooting at them.
