Hello, could someone help thinking about moving one of my fruit machines to the Conservatory so i get more room when i find an easy way to move it lol but the suns always shining in the morning is it likely to fade if its in direct sun light quite often? Thanks.

I cant give a 100% answer as ive never tryed it myself but i have seen loads of sun faded machines in my time - What i would be worried more with is cooking your reels if you have strong direct sunlight.

Not really an answer but hopefully saved your reels, lol.

It would probably take a long time to fade but I think the paint would probably peel away before it fades, as Starlesiure says the reels will probably be effected, discoloured etc.

the biggest problem with machines in the sun is that you cannot see what the hell is lit.

There's a sun-faded Rainbow Riches hi-tech (Horizon cab, red frames) in an arcade near me. It was sited next to a window all last year and the artwork is all pink, including the button decals. The only bits that look original are the 2nd and 3rd levels of the feature board. I'll grab a pic next time I'm there as it looks quite ridiculous.

My star wars must have been in the sun, the white is now a very pale cream.
