HI, hoping someone here will be able to help me!! I have a Bell Fruit manufacturing Co. 'Nudge Selecta' GA 1411/1571
It takes old 10p pieces and has a £2 Jackpot
It isnt currently working, just think it has fused
I cant find any information about this machine at all online...
Does anyone know roughly how much it would be worth?
Thank you
Danni

Hi there,
I got my dad a old Bell fruit machine called 'Money Bags' and its from the 1980's although I'm not too sure on the date
Anyway, we had an start up issue on it, so i took all the cables out of the pack that was on the back door and gave it a clean and a blow (including connections) and ever since, it has been fine. Thought that could be an idea to get it back up and running
In respects to how much its worth, depends on how popular it was in 1) the arcades back in the day and 2) how popular it was with the players...
I don't really think people on here will be able to put a price on it, as it depends on if there is someone out there that is waiting for it to come on one day or not. Who knows, it could be worth more than £100, £200, £300, or it might not. There is always one way to find out, make sure its done with a reserve if you feel its worth a lot yourself
-Regards

As what Taylor has said there they can be some cash hiden with in these.
Gettting back to the fault once again as Taylor has said unplug and reconnect looms
Do check all fuses
Do check all brass contacts , Depending on the fault cleaning these with brasso (HOW EVER PLEASE MAKE SURE POWER IS OFF AS THESE DID/DO HAVE 240V RUNNING LIVE ON TO THESE POINTS) Can fix these. A good can of air duster also helps to go over the relays.
Do check that there is no jammed coins on any relay points and one that i can remember is to check on the reels also seen it a number of time where coins had been welded onto the reel contact panel
These can stop the machine from even starting as there is a short across the points
Also check the relays that look burnt. Most where in a clear plastic case, even try and remove these and resit them even a little tap while its out.
.._-=It`s not a problem only a challenge =-_..

Ignore what everyone else has said in this thread.
There is an ex BFM techie who worked on these very machines in the 70's, that can certainly help you sort whatever issues you may have, over at MPU Mecca..... He certainly was right on the ball when I had a hold fault on my BFM Cross Over, and he pinpointed it in 30 seconds.
Start up a thread there, or give BF74 a direct PM: http://www.fruitemu..../user/480-bf74/
