Does your monitor have a USB hub inside it and does the USB from the router connect to a device (Network Drive or Network Printer) via this hub.??? All monitors chuck out local RF (interference) onto AM radio wether faulty or not.
Just a thought.
Difficult to know the solution without seeing the setup.
Also I'll state the obvious. Get hold of another monitor from somewhere to prove the fault before shelling out for another one.
