Hi all have started to upload the rest of the games, dont use Hungry Harry thats on there now it is incomplete so will upload a new one and Niven will zip them up,
i can get cashcade /cashsmash/connect 4/countdown/great escape to work on the itbox ok, the game i need working the most is HUNGRY HARRY my 4yr old loves it,just cant add credit to it, had to download feeding frenzy for the mo to keep her happy but dosent work with the touchscreens got to use the mouse, so if someone with more brains than me can get it working they would be a god, might be getting some new cams soon off the new paragon machines dont know what they are until my mate brings them will let you know if and when

If it's the same xhair3 that I think you're talking about - there is no Windows 7 version - I made it when this emus were first about as an alternative to Sonar.
As for crashes - I find the older Itbox Emulator works better than the dual server

Would you mind giving me more guidance please

Open XVI32
drag the EXE of the game program into XVI32,
do a search for the text 'ShowCursor' (without the ')
When you find it, go to the text and overwrite it so it reads 'ClipCursor' (without the ')
Save the EXE.
This changes the calls within the program, and makes the cursor appear.
Save your original EXE though, because some games don't work after the change.

You can edit the exe files.
This works with 95% of them.
Download a little program called XVI32 it's easy to find on google.
Open it up. In the program, open the exe file of the quiz game you want to play. The left of the screen should be a load of numbers, the right will have some text about not working in dos and other stuff. Click 'search' and then 'find'
Tell it to look in 'Text string' and seach for: ShowCursor
You MUST use capital letters for the S and C.
Click the S of show, and type "Clip" so it now reads "ClipCursor"
save the file. Load the game. Hey presto, you have a mouse cursor, with no flickering or stupid red boxes, and it only takes 30 seconds, I've done all my games in about 10 minutes. try that out rodney

Have got CrystalMazeXP and a few others working I think, not managed to win on any yet so it may crash at that point.
CMazeXP uses dx7 so probably won't work with Win7 unless there's a working dx8 version of the dx7.dll somewhere.
if anyone wants to try it, the itserv file below replaces the itbxemu, run just before running the game as it exits after each completed connection. This file basically changes the string from the old emu from 'TELC' to 'TELE' (since CM was using ASKE not ASKC) and adds more 0s. see modified winsockdemo source here:

There are DDraw Hooks for stuff like the early Wing Commander games and the like:
http://sol.gfxile.net/ddhack/
Don't know if these work, basically you put them in the folder where the executable is, in place of the ddraw.dll that's already there, not tried it, so better to keep backups in case it all goes wrong.
