Hi'Yal
I just thought id tell those of you who are thinking of buying a fruit machine refil key from EBAY.
This is because i bought one from ebay the other day and i used it (ON MY MACHINE) and when i tried to access the hopper level it said "ACCESS DENIED" (this was on A Pick Yer Pesos machine)
I also tried it on "LOTR FOTR" and it did nothing.
I used two keys as i got an official one from the fruit machine company i bought it from. NOTHING.
It only worked on my own machine was i had the cash box open.
But who's gonna open it just to find out how much is in the hopper. When They can just loot the overflow of Quids and Silver Coins.
Also when i got my KEY from EBAY, it was just a copied key that had the name and address of the KEY CUTTERS, whereas my OFFICIAL KEY had "refill" Engraved on one side.
What are your views, what machines have you been able to get to work (not including emulations).
Cheers Guys, Thought id just tell you my opinion.
C ya. Nick

the "acesses denied" is because the machine operator has set one of the dill switches to prevent you seeing wat the hopper float is.

also, some new machines allow one turn of the key per session, then you are denied

That'll teach people to [EDIT] - NOT come on here and do a search for 'refill key' before buying one.

Hopefully this post will discourage other people from believing the 'WIN £60000 A YEAR LIKE I DID THIS AMAZING KEY WILL SOLVE ALL OF YOUR MONEY PROBLEMS TOTALLY EMPTIES PARTY TIME' type crap.

refill keys cost 3p each at trade price. why on earth do people buy em to think that there gonna empty machines they are a total waste of time and money for the public. this has been said before refill keys are to assist the cash collectors in pubs and clubs ect..ect. all modern machines have to have the CASHBOX DOOR OPEN to gain the information.even most machines in the arcades have even had the wire's removed from the switch to stop people gaining info. all my machines that are sited in pubs in lincs have had there refill switch disabled via the onboard dip switch within the machines. i cannot understand people who buy them at anywhere upto £10+ for one

With respect to the first post :

There is no 'official' key as such, they are generally Lowe + Fletcher 87000s, but I've never seen one with 'refill' on the side. Nothing to stop you from having that engraved though :)

I bought one from e-bay for my own Club Casino Crazy and it was fine. It saves me having to play the credits out when I want to refill it.

Good point - if you do need a Refill Key for a machine for the purpose of refilling, and you have the cashdoor key, then eBay is a reasonable place to get one from [until the Realfruits crowd start bidding £20 for one :D]

Yeah don't get me wrong i understad that those people who own there own machine (myself included) can buy them from EBAY to help them refill them.
Its just when you look at the EBAY posts thy say "EMPTY THIS MACHINE" , "IT'LL TELL YOU THE HOPPER LEVEL" andmore bsides that.

Also i as thinking (BB you propably no this) when you refill your machine via darefill key, does it have any effect on its gameplay. (i.e. thinks ithas more money in so it pays out more) or is it due to the metres att he bottom telingit what o pay out. Cheers Guys.

It isn't due to the meters, or the float level [i.e amount refilled by using the key]. It is down to the current percentage payout, trying to reach the target percentage.

Knowing the hopper balance wouldn't really be useful anyways, i know of many arcades that refill their machines constantly to give you that "its dropping down the back, its ready to pay!!" idea. When in reality, its just payed out £100 the day before, and they've refilled it to get their money back!! coz, of course, what drops down the back dont come back out the machine does it!!

People are sad if they use a refill key to cheat on a machine.
