Got to congratgulate the guys and women who hav put this site together (and others of a similar nature). For donkeys years ive always fancied a real fruity in my house but its never been practical! plus it was the element of winning my own money that somewat eluded the fantasy. some clasics that i remember playin in the nineties, cop n robbers, viva espania, road hog to name a few.
can anyone help me tho on one game? iv seen a link to a screenshot but was wonderin if anyone actually has the whole thingmyjingy! Silver Ghost - plain and simple game but one i used to love playin in my 0 - 10s!!! im only 28 now, used to play it when my mum popped in the arcade on the way home from town!! i was about 8/9. dont know if anyones played it but it was excellent!! anyway, keep up the good word and spread the news of the site cos i have! if i get enough fruties, i mite even consider setting up my own arcade....!! now how do i fix them like cafes, kebab shops, taxi offices etc.............haha!! sorry to the business i mentioned, of course i was only messing!

Loved playing the machine too, remember thinking £10 winnings in 10ps was the most money I would ever have in my life. I have never seen this machine in any arcade since the days I played and I have never seen it for sale either.

no pictures or flyers have surfaced for this machine and as time goes on the odds on getting any get worse.....
unless a real artist does a hand drawn dx, the classic is as good as its gunna get......

Cyberpunk:- alienated loner who lives on the edge of society in generally dystopic future where daily life is impacted by rapid technological change, an ubiquitous datasphere of computerized information, and invasive modification of the human body.....Hmmmmm

I somehow think with the title of this thread being ''Bar Bar Barstard Can't Find It Nowhere!!!'', I would have thought the 'Silver Ghost' that is in question here is the very old JPM one from the 80's. Not sure what tech it is but it is definately un-emulated at present.
This is the Silver Ghost you are on about yes???.....

i am pretty much certain silver ghost was a mps1 machine as the system 80 was on the older jpm's.

I remember this machine too, played this at Pontins/Butlins in Morcamme ( bad spelling there ) about 15 years ago !
I also remember my local arcade here had a gold version, probably called Golden ghost ?
The main difference was there was a mystery win that could accumulate via a forth reel upto jp value.£2 or £3 jackpot, used to be tokes i think but soon was all cash in 10p's.
I also seen a £15 or £10 version at M & D's Themepark a few years ago.
Ziggy.

The picture brings back the memories!! Iv seen it before and the classic, suppose I could but it isnt the same!! I used to play it in an arcade in town (Lpool) first in the eighties and then I think the last time I played it was in the ear;y nineties in place called Sunnysands i think it was in Barmouth, Wales! Il do a JR Hartley and phone around a few arcades!

I would go with Alth on this and say it's System 80.
It shares the same Cab as another two old System 80 machines, namely Pot the Lot and Supa Spinner:
So it will work in the new MFME. But we still need the roms.

I remember the version with the 4th reel. It had the 'PLUS 10' and 'STOP' symbols so when you got a win, it could potentially be a JP win.
The mane escapes me though. Silver Ghost was the original machine but Golden Ghost or Golden Shadow sounds like the name of the 4th reel version. I do remember it was 'Golden' something though. No pic I'm affraid.

YEP!!! That is the one he is on about....I always thought it was a BFM machine but hey, what do I know eh? Probably because of the bars. It was around in 1983 'cos I lost loads of cash on it on holiday when I was a teen!!! I don't think the original sound ROM's are around for it though. There is a classic version available on this site.

What a crappy way to post your 100th eh?
Not only did I f*** up the quote but I didn't even realise it was my centenary until it was too late.... :?
Still...This is my 101st post now....and I'm still talking garbage and know absolutely nothing about emulating. Is this some kind of record?
