What do you think is the meanest machine?

It's has to be Maygays original Monoply.

It has to be some of the newer machines.

I played one called Royal Casino by Impulse a couple of months ago at a service station. It took me up to the 2nd highest feature (the highest being the JP) on a 2 and when I went higher it gave me a 1. Ah well I thought if it has gone that high once it will do it again, and sure enough a couple of feature games later I'm up there on a 2 again. So I go higher than a 2 and get a 1 again - bugger I thought.

Now it was getting to be a challenge - I had to have that top feature. The machine was buzzing by now and let me get to the 2nd top feature a further 13 times with either a 2 or an 11. Guess what it rolled me all 13 times, you guessed it either a 1 or a 12 - aggggh!!!

So eventually after about £60 I just collected the 2nd top feature. It gave me £15, then 3 plays later I got back on the feature up to the 2nd highest feature again and it gave me £10. Therefore £15+£10=£25, ie, the Jackpot.

Why didn't it just give me the bloody JP in the first place!

Played a Club Psycho Cash Beast and it gave me a £150 nudge win (four yellow bars). I gambled higher than a 2 and it span a 1! Luckily I managed to drop the JP after putting another £100 through the machine, so I got my deserved profit!

So it cost you another £100 for no gain at all?

i.e. you had £150, lost, put in another £100 which paid £250?

Nasty. Still at least you got the JP in the end.

that's right JustInfo, could have saved myself a couple of hours by just taking the £150 win! But to be fair I did have the satisfaction of dropping the JP and there was about £50 in afterplay so it wasn't too bad.

Ive had 2 really bad times on a machine.....

One was Astras Top slot 10p a spin £5jp, Put in £55 got out £6

Second was Casino crazy fruits (£25jp) In £120 not one jp, let me in 3 keys but never gave me more than £10, all went back in. so basically got out nothing after it had all gone back in, only for someone to chuck a tenner in when i ran out of money, 2 jp's on the 3 keys feature, then about a fiver later a let em spinner on bells too. i was very angry, but hey, sh** happens!

i once played andy capp 20p £6 and managed to put £60 thru it without so much as a board or win. obviously there was something wrong with the machine but when i alerted the guys attention to my fate he simply laughed and said tough s**t. needless to say i never returned to that particular gambling arcade.

I have to say HiLoWatha is the uttermost worst machine I have every played.

Seven times now I have had a £10 win on an 11 and gone lower only to get a 12.

Also every time you get an extra life the only way you can keep it is if you have a 1 or a 12. If you have a 2 or 11 and hi lo gamble the obvious then you will die.

The worst machine that i have ever come across is cash raider (recently added to the downloads section) i used to play this many years ago and never once got a JP out of it. You could easily make up a few quid taking smaller amounts but nothing would make this machine pay out the big un.

Also i once put £180 in Powerspins and never got a single JP i was not a happy chap and that machine will forever be my nemesis

I think the worst must be Pharaohs (25p £250jp) have sat for hours on this machine, and can go £40-£60 without a single feature.

Nah i got to 150 on pharoes gold on an 11 it went to a twleve

Worst loss a single machine was probably about £75 on a ring-a-bell variant. Someone went on after me and I was all read for it to drop and it gave them nothing either. They must have put in about £30 on top of my £75.

I rarely play 3 reel machines any more, they have almost all gone the same way now. All you have to do is take nothing and hope it will pay quickly. The Italian Job (the newest one) is one of the worst machines ever. Someone put about £60 through it which was all going down the back, so I put another £100 through it just to get one move on the board, one shot and hit the £25 pound.

Another really bad one is Club Rolling Thunder. Took me £240 to get £250. Nightmare to be honest. All 4 thunders on the line only offered me £15 at most.

And Club Cops and Robbers at 10p a play £150 jackpot. Took me about £100 to get the £150, but another £10 in gave me about £60 on afterplay so it wasn't too bad.

Bring back fun machines I say, none of these new ones.

The worst one I've ever had was called 'Volcano summit', decided to see what would happen if I went 'higher' than a 12 :?

You guessed it, the f*cker took my gamble, dropped a 3 and killed me :oops:

Oh well, my own fault for trying...

the great thing about the extra life bit is if you have it and keep it after you next gamble you have jackpot. and course it wil kill you on 10 quid on a 11 the next win is jackpot u silly c***
