why does this always happen, everytime im playing on mfme games and after about 200 or so spins my laptop starts to boil and the games im playing start going at a ridiculous slow speed?
This has gone beyond the point of p*ssing me off i have to keep re-starting the computer then after another 200 spins it boils and swelters and cant even do anything on this computer as it all just goes so slow.
Is there a way round this, settings/control panel or anything to stop it.
thanks

hey try this http://www.filehippo...nload_ccleaner/
clean ur windows and the registry
also try turning off programs u dont want to the computer to be using when its turned on so type in the startbar 'msconfig' select startup and take the tick out of everything u dont want the system to loadup but leave the ticks in any c:\windows programs then cick apply
hope this solves the problem
other than that i will need a system spec to see if any hardware can be upgraded suck as the ram

Sounds like it is conflicting with something else on your pc and sending memory usage sky high. Never heard of it doing that before - what anti-virus have you got running?

Yeah , thats along the lines i was thinking BJ , 'something' may be using up to 100% CPU and making the whole system grind to a halt.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know.

It is the only thing it can be really-never head of anything like it before and TBH most of the time an anti-virus is the guilty party. Macafee and Symantec are the worse culprits, though before I ditched Avast that used to take complete control of my pc for minutes at a time; just use Microsoft security essentials now, sorted.

If your on windows vista/7 32 bit that is your problem,it will be okish with scorpion 4 and mpu5 games, but will eat all your cpu up once you try playing the older games.

I always had probs on my laptop due to windows 7,which I still think is a load of tosh!
I have some probs with Amber games, otherwise everything runs great on my xp pc.
Another tip for all who have Winrar,I daily wipe that of its storage as I find it picks up all the crap from the net and does appear to slow down net speed,if not cleared.
On ya comp corel try playing ya slots without using the net at the same time.Reguardless of my dislike to windows 7,I also found the net made the slots run slower.

my aunti viral is microsoft security essesntials as i dont use avg, macafee or norton as they are utter rubbish and they just want to take over your computer and eat up more CPU.

my best guess is that your thrashing the hell out of the CPU and GPU. after 200 spins your now producing so much heat your laptop cant take it. deleteing programs is not the answer. newer laptops at the £350 mark can be purchased with twin discreat gfx cards - nice!

Iv'e always found (on different computers) that MFME really is a CPU hungry programme and can really test a machine. I'm not the only one ,other friends of mine have said the same thing. Need to give your PC an MOT and health check because if it's not in the best of health MFME will tell you.
I know someone who uses MFME as a Bench Mark test on his computers!!!!

This is not 100% strictly true ricardo, when i had windows vista on my shitty pc all games ran slow, cpu was at 100% all the time, the sound was goosed on mps and system 5 games and any games using synth sound, tried win7 still the same, put windows xp pro on my system and all the games fly with the cpu usage at about 10% if that,so it is deffo os related.

If you go to a poundland esque shop (there bloody everwhere) you can get a USB fan (you guessed it yup, there £1!) that you can rest laptop onto, it will keep the laptop off a solid surface, and also keep it cool by blowing cool air through onto the components, I swear by them now as you can stay on laptop for hours on end and not worry about overheating!.
I hope this helps.
