I've been playing this damn machine in the social club at work for months. I have no idea how people make emu's but I really really
want one for this machine. Anyone?
p.s - Utter Nutter Club would be nice too.

Afraid this is not possible, basically there is no Emulator for them,Scorpion/Epoch

The emulators were not specifically designed for use with club machine ROMs so that people could learn tactics. They were designed to celebrate the golden days of fruit machines, when skill was almost involved, and there was no £40 dead play to compensate for a £75 streak on a £25 AWP.
No amount of emulation would help you with a machine like that, all I could recommend would be that you find a club machine guide either on P2P or by joining a club such as the CMA.

Why does every one get really arsey really quickly. I don't want club rich geezer rom so I can learn tactics, I know that machine inside out. I've lost plenty and made plenty of it, I just wanted it so I could play it more often. I love that machine and I love all its sounds. I just wish a lot of people on this site would go a bit easier on beginners who don't know a lot. As soon as a post goes out from someone who is not knowledgable as half you guys, you just put out all these "oh, you're so dumb" replies to them. Where in my original thread did it say I wanted to know tactics for it. Ol' Rich Geezer isn't at all tactical, the bastard just decides whether it wants your money or not. So in future, try and go easy on the newbies, they could well be the next generation of fruitie designers. Who knows?

I don't recall saying you are dumb, but considering that the top of the site states :
The fact that the machine is in both your club, and the constitutional club where I live suggests to me that it is still current. I'm sorry thought I implied you were dumb, that was never the intention. Also, layouts for the emulator are not made on requests -
So, I'll apologise for misinterpreting your post - hey, at least you didn't have PG shouting expletives non stop for 5 hours
Fruit-Emu contains all the files and resources necessary to run emulations for over 600 Fruit Machines. The aim of the site is to keep alive the memory of older Fruit Machines which are no longer available for play in arcades. We do not emulate any current machines such as Crazy Fruits, Party Time or Pie Factory. All newer machines cannot be emulated and you will therefore not find them on this site (in fact you will not find them on any site, so save yourself some time and stop trawling the internet for them!).

OK Mike if were gonna play like that.
Tell me did you read the knowledge base before posting ?
I doubt you did as you would of found your answer there.
Now tell me why we shouldnt get annoyed when we put a perfectly good knowledge base on this site for the new people to check before posting something they are likely to get flamed for ? If they dont read it first (despite enough banners, signatures) then they are open for insults and moans.
If you had of said "i've read the knowledge base and i have seen that this machine is not going to be emulated until the technology is available but do we have any idea when this will be ?" then you would of got a good response and not flamed.
Now you see where we are coming from, as for the comment on the next generation of designers this site already offers faqs and tips for anyone who wants to have a go and create their first layouts and what they should do if they run into any problems. none of them argue or throw comments back at the longer term members who are here for guidance and assiting the new people on the scene.
The new members that do sign up fall into one of these categories
Party time. grr
I saw a machine in the pub and is it emulated . read the kb ?
Im new to the scene and really keen to learn more *we like these ones*
To me it would sound like you fit the middle one, probably downloaded loads of games from the site but has yet to even offer praise or thanks to that designer for taking the time and effort for your enjoyment.
The top category people dont last long here and the bottom category is where our senior members come in as thats were we started.
Where you go from here is your choice, i would hope you sway for the bottom category rather than the top and if you do want any help on creating layouts or your first emu then this is the one you want to stick to.
Head up from the group and forsee a (fruit-emu) life of flaming and being the subject for many joke topics.
I dont make the rules here but we have built a community from around 20 members to now 1000's. But when it comes to people posting the "CAN IT BE EMU'D" questions on a machine thats in the pub down the road then you will be in for some shitty responses from a lot of the senior members here.
Now any further questions ?

Oh, you can also check signatures, I think I was the trendsetter when it came to putting 'rules' in your signature. If you are not sure if a machine is emulated, you'll need to know the manufacturer and the date it was made [should be on the cabinet]. To be honest, any machine currently in a but can't be, but the exception to the rule is JPM - same for club machines, I remember you posted about Thunderbirds.
I hope that you take the comments made on board and don't take offense - Very Rich Geezer is probably about 4 years old now - and at least you didn't ask for Party Time.
To be honest, I don't mind the Party Time threads that much, gives me something I can boost my post count on
Oh, and at least you haven't sent me emails asking if I am gay, which is what some noobs do [RMOORE!]

Dont take offence to whats posted but we cannot stress enough that most of these questions are in the knowledge base.
Hence why i/we get upset when people ignore our hard work putting it together and posting anyway.

Hmmm....I still think that the knowledge base is too hard for a noob to find. I think it needs to be size 72, white text on a black background, across the top of the homepage.

My bad, I don't want to go down the tardish route and spend my life trying to scam machines. That's no fun. I'll take the advice given and get my teeth into the knowledge base. Cheers.

Of course if you have any questions, feel free to PM me
Oh, and if you were interested in working on a fruit machine layout you could also get in touch with me, or start a new thread or something
