After watching the BBC News channel, it has come to light that a body has been found in the area that a 12-year old girl has gone missing.
Over the years, probably because of 24 hour news coverage now, the deaths, especially of children, have become more prominent in our news, hasn’t it?
What do you think of people who murder anyone at all, let alone children?
I have always believed in the death sentence. I know that in the past, innocent people may have been executed, that shouldn’t have been… but with the technology we have now, especially in forensics with the advent of DNA, it is much more accurate to catch the people responsible for these heinous crimes. Where proven beyond doubt that someone has committed one of the worst crimes a human can inflict on another, I adamantly believe in the ‘eye for an eye’ justice to be metered out…
… if you take a life in a criminal way - your life should also be taken in a judicial one!
What’s your opinions?

Where are the parents?????? Poor kid never had a chance!!!! The boyfriend speaking on the News had exactly the same expressions as the Caretaker (Ian Huntley) at the Soham Murder!!!!! Death penalty is too good, leave to rot in prison. Such a sad ending.

Sorry I need to back-track....
She wasn't walking the streets at 1am, she was with the security of adults.
So should no kid never sleep over at a friends or indeed their Nan's?

Yeah She never left the house. It was the boyfriend who said she'd gone out. This is what makes this whole event more disturbing. The boyfriend an with an unknown history in the house with the young girl.

Simple really bring back hanging, I battered a child molester with a heavy chain gave him 36 stitches in his head and handed myself in to police was expecting 7 to 10yrs but got out after 2 weeks, 3 days before xmas on self defense cuz he was armed aswell. It was my wifes brother he done his own kids and he got away with it as social services said the kids were too young 3 and 5yrs to drag through the courts, anyway he went to prison for something else not long after and when he got out he was found dead dumped at the back of a disused hotel in torquay probably after doing someone else's kid.
I told the police if someone did that to my kids i would kill em and they said then you be in big trouble so i said do you think i care about that.
There should be no place in society for these sick mother f***ers! Hang the lot of em or give em to the parents to torture!

In a sense though, I don't really just mean child killers - I believe in the death sentence from a child to an adult to an elderly person.
Premeditated murder is calculated... It is planned, thought out and carried out with intent to terminate a life...
... if you are caught having done so, the judicial system should do the exact same thing to you - legally!

Totally agree especially now and where they have D.N.A evidence.

A death sentence would be giving the child killer exactly what they want, an easy way out. Id say special torture chambers where arms and legs get bent backwards and limbs getting ripped open.

These sort of people should be left alone in a cell to rot. The prison warders have families as well so i don't think their stay in prison will be very well accepted.

people might not argee to this but simple for murders they should get murdered in the same way they murdered their victims so if that means a hammering then so be it and rapists should have it all cut off or sterilised and serial robbers n dangerous drivers have a hand chopped off etc etc it might sound barbaric to some of you but you watch the crime rates fall instead they,re rising with this cushy prison life they all get

The problem with execution is what if their innocent?
DNA etc you say, yeah but that can still be planted, so where do you draw the line?
The death penalty is good in theory but if someone has the means and power someone could be setup the same as they can be now DNA or no DNA.
But if its something thats 100% rock solid, why not kill them rather than spend hundreds of thousands keeping them alive in prisons forever?
Like I have said tho even something that can look 100% rock solid can not be as was the case recently of someone admitting they setup someone for a crime using DNA they got without there knowledge and purposely put it where the crime had been commited!
But yeah in principal it would be good if the punishment fitted the crime.
On the lines of rape someone have your dicks / ball chopped off etc
Killing someone while drink driving, killed by the state etc

It should be a life for a life. Hang this c*** and others like him.
Before people say what about past misscarriges of justice, well with todays dna and forensic sciences these misscarriages should be a thing of the past.
And before anybody starts on the bloddy human rights issue, what a load of bollocks that is. Where is the human rights of the people they kill, where is there rights to live. You take the human rights away from your victim you should forego your human rights.
Bring back the death penalty.

i think this post is totally disgusting and very disrespectful for the following reasons Once again people are jumping to conclusions... Idiots.
A Body has been found, but has it been confirmed, as of 11/08/2012 at 03:43 that it is the body of Tia Sharpe? No it hasnt. Very disrespectful especially to her family and to all be sat here mourning RIP Tia when she might even be alive....Come on people, have a bit of respect.
Its also odd how your all assuming its a murder case*, many are calling for death and violence. Well done, you are no better than the person that commited the origianl crime ;-) we're nearly back in lynch mob times clearly, You obviously have no interest in the case and are jumping on the dark ages violence bandwagon. Calling for voilence over violence and thinking you're on higher ground. you are no better than Ian Huntley or this guy because you are seeing violence as a solution. not here disputing this or any other case, I'm here pointing out how hypocritical you're all being. Who said this guy is guilty? So the person hasnt been charged with anything and certainly hasnt been convicted of any crime yet and here you are drooling for his death over what you see on the news, Bloody Hell, you should be be spokespeople for this case I'm sure with your great debating skills and narrowmindedness, you'll get very far and obtain many followers. and Seeing as this person has been charged of no crime yet then isnt this post a bit presumptuous?
*Still being investigated, obviously speaking metaphorically.
Why make such a stupid dumbass hypocritical post, where you jump on the bandwagon from behind your screens, baying for the blood of others over blood spilt (of a victim you can't even name properly). Harming/murdering a murderer doesn't make everything okay, nor does it reverse the crime, it just sends us back to the dark ages.
To tell the truth, Your all nothing but a sad bunch of pathetic little keyboard warriers that haven't got the slightest clue to what the facts are !!!

Hi and welcome to Fruit Emu.
Most new members usually say hello in their post, however, seeing as though you are so passionate about this thread I have made I have approved your post.
You certainly are entitled to your opinion, but I certainly don't agree with it... but then that is my opinion. We each have our own, as do the other members of this forum and they have the right to express how they feel on this, and any other matter too, the way feel and think.
I am sorry that your first post isn't an entirely happy one here at Fruit Emu, but if you stick around, especially because you must've joined because you have come across FME, you will find more threads that you may not like, or even like.
Either way, thank you for your input... I hope that you'll enjoy FME (fruit machine emulation) - if that is what you have joined for.
