1. Chop and dice the carrots and onions and sauté them in a frying pan until soft and translucent
2. Slice the sausages into rings, and gently fry in the pan that you have just done the onions and carrots in, until lightly golden
3. Add the mushrooms to the frying pan and just shallow fry to release the water and the mushrooms become soft
4. In a separate saucepan, gently simmer the milk, but do not boil it. Grate the cheese, and add this to the saucepan gradually, stirring all the time. Beat 2 eggs really well and gradually add this to the saucepan as well - make sure you keep stirring or the eggs will scramble
5. When the sauce gradually thickens, add the cooked carrots, onions, mushrooms and sausage rings to the mixture, and then season with salt and pepper. Keep on a very low heat - and keep stirring occasionally!
6. Either use the pasta or rice, whichever you prefer, and cook as you normally would
7. When the rice/pasta is cooked, do the following:
with pasta —> drain the pasta and put onto the plates… then pour the sauce with the food ingredients in over it - sprinkle with some remaining cheese
with rice —> make sure all the rice is absorbed and cooked through. Pour the sauce with the food ingredients onto the centre of your plates, then place the cooked rice around the edges in a circle - sprinkle with some remaining cheese
8. Eat < — > Deleicious!!
Edit: Tip… if the sauce doesn’t thicken well, add some corn flour, (or thoroughly mixed plain flour with water until a very smooth liquidy paste) and gradually stir into the sauce until it thickens.

Read this earlier and I though ..... wtf! this a joke post.
Glad it isn't, so much food is wasted where a really nice meal could be made.
My fave is using stuff like you mention and (though you said about soups) i'm not a Chef but I love lobbing all that in with some Lentils and a bit/pinch of chilli.....
So many times I was about to bin stuff and did an experiment (nowt to lose) and I was amazed at how it turned-out.

I’m not a chef at all lad… you just learn to make do with what you have got and improvise throughout the years! lol
PS… Let me know how it tastes - I might try it myself one day.
