Afraid it looks a bit strange on my PC - all the reels, buttons e.t.c. are out of line with the artwork.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, i3 2120 ( using Intel HD2000 graphics), 1680x1050 resolution.

Did play OK, all reels e.t.c. were sync'd fine, just out of position :S

in reality,.... this isnt a new release,... its just 20 spins,then u have to pay out to use the full version,....it doesnt even mention that u have to pay out dosh in the description at the top (next to the download link),....... a 'NEW RELEASE' is something that after u have downloaded it,you can play it 10000 times or more without any advert appearing.

......unless a donation is to made to the upkeep of fruit-emu.com from the money,.. cant see the point of this. sorry. :-(

Solved my problem with reels / buttons e.t.c. not fitting - it was because it's the PC I set up for my parents and it is set to 125% zoom

Sorry guys but i don't see what the problem is? you are downloading a preview of a new sim(try before you buy ) you are not being forced to fork out for it,if you don't want to pay for the full sim don't.

You can reasonably expect the thread / post to inform people it's a demo before they actually download it, especially if they are on 3G / HSDPA. I can see why some people are a bit annoyed, but I expected nothing less from Reels of Fun anyway.

I never realised when I first posted that not everyone would realise it was a trial.

Because Steve (fruitman) had released trials here before, I thought we all knew about the restrictions.

I did mention though that I didn't win anything with my free plays - sorry I didn't mention it being a trial in my post.

Still, it is a great simulation though!

Firstly, I assumed people would know that it was a trial like all the others I have submitted on here, but when I realised that it should be in the description, I was unable to edit it as that option wasnt available nor could I deleted it and start again.

As for the negative comments that it should not have been put on here as the game isnt free, a couple of members had asked me for a trial of it so I put it on here, no one is forcing you to purchase if you dont want to.

The "experts on fruit machine emulation" are quite right. Its NOT an emulation, its a simulation which has been coded from scratch. it doesn't use Roms like the emulations do.

You'd have thought the first word of the thread title would've been enough information for some people, wouldn't you?...

Yes in windows you must have display settings set to default eg 100% not 125 or 150 for it to be displayed properly.

Astra slots cannot be emulated, its a simulation ( as in the title? ) was coded from scratch which took many, many hours of coding.

So the "experts" are still correct, sorry to burst your bubble
