It has been a while since I have been on frui-emu not really that bothered about fruit machines anymore (the only ones you seem to get is DOND types now) … Wouldn’t say I like the classics but be interesting to know what everyone’s favorite machine was or is and why.

Mines was Mario Kart 64…I don’t think I ever got a jackpot from this machine but I loved the gameplay and back then it wasn’t really all about chasing the jackpot every board like it is now. Would be happy winning a few quid and moving onto another machine and winning a few off that, We used to do that when we were younger as we went to Berwick every second weekend when our team was playing away from home. Plenty of machines to pick from and could easily turn a couple of quid into 20 (which was a lot when you were younger) by just collecting a couple from each machine.

From memory the machines I used to work round were:

Mario Kart
Jiggin the riggin
Spotted dick/how big is your rock
New York new York
Simpsons (meltdown)
The mob sometimes
London underground
Ghost train

If we are doing 90's machines and early 00's i can name the top 10 i used to play on all the time.

Got a few from the 80's and early 90's I love, but just this weekend, I actually has the pleasure of seeing 3 of them side by side, and had the chance to play them, all at Mr P's Amusements in Gravesend

BTW other than my gob, also has Crazybar and matty_n with me, and suffice to say, both of em got me totally plastered the first night, after I went in to this arcade near Crazybar's place, and dropped over £120 out of this Mazooma lo-tec, for about £20 in
