I had a similar problem with my fortune and glory, the guy from ebay supplied it with a refill key that didn't go in the lock.

So the solution was to get a bit of wire, and strip each end so there was enough wire to bung in each end of the lock so it connected. and the plastic middle to hold saved any chance of you getting hurt.

Cheers

OK guys i have turned down the Volume and stuff but have a few more questions for ya.

I have dumped the coins using the refill key method (paperclip :) ) in the manual and its Dumped £45

now i have gone to the "refilling the hopper with less than £125" in the manual part and filled it back up with £45

and i was just wondering how will this affect the machine being as it hasnt got £125 in it?

and finally where can i get a proper refill key from? :)

It is illegal for the hopper balance according to the float level to have any affect on gameplay, all that determines that is the percentage payout [that is, a streak is normally given when the percentage payout drops to a certain point, say 5% below what it should be paying out, and then compensates by throwing wins at you :)]

Only problem with a £45 float level is that on £25 JP should it pay the repeater 2x within £5 stake it would empty the machine and need refloating!

As to where to get a key from, I don't have any spares, when I do it's normally about £2.50 inc P&P. Best bet is to actually start a new thread, put in the title you need a new Refill key for your OWN machine, and if you like, say I said you could start a new thread. Simple reason is that lots of people ask about refill keys on here so they can use them on machines in arcades to get hopper balances, that kind of thing :)

Failing that, you can get them on eBay, but they tend to go for WAY too much money, over £10 isn't uncommon :)

a) Just chuck the 45quids back in the top of the hopper - as it has dumped 45quid it knows thats how much there was (is) in there. To check, put the machine in freeplay (bottom door open) and operate refill key - alpha should look something like
100P BAL 45.00
B) eBay - prices vary, usually a couple of quid.
