Rape isnt something that should be joked about in my opinion, especially when it gets replys from the like of Coral, (Reply no 7) which to me are sick and he/she has never experienced such a thing (and I hope never does).

As for you Daryl, I am sorry that has happened to you in the past but that does not accept cheap shots at a joke regarding rape or other sexual crimes.

I bet you were the first to give everyone the Gary Glitter jokes, then if someone bites back then reply the same way.

Who the f*** are you to say how someone chooses to deal with an issue that has affected him?

I've met Daryl in real life a few times (You best be coming to the Mecca Birmingham meet, or I will be coming up to Mansfield to kick your arse!), and despite the shitpile of both psychical and mental health issues he's stuck with through no fault of his own, I have never met such a nice and well grounded guy in all of FME, who would do everything he could to help his fellow man.

In short, he is no way in hell he's the devil in which you are trying to insinuate he is.

Thats what i was thinking ... 300 seems a bit far fetched , however im not disputing it ... do you think some of them may be after it for the 'fame' though ?

I must admit I have not paid much attention to this scandle, and, for want of a better word. hearsay. I will wait until a definitive conclusion has been reached. However, 300 is not that many. Spanning, say, 50 years it's 1 every 2 months. Yes I'm aware the maths are not as simple as that as he would be more active when younger, but in reality it could be a lot more. There's people who wont come forward, and those who have passed on.

Recent prosecutions have shown that these sex offenders seem to have their own little circle of similarly minded friends, so I'm certain there are offenders still to be unearthed, and are quaking with every knock on their door.
What really angered me was the interview with a woman who claimed to have seen him sexually molest a young girl who was in a coma...FFS, why didn't she speak out.
No doubt there could be some false cliams by those hoping to gain finacially, but the authority experts who interview them will not be easily fooled.

These people coming forward should be taken to court and charged with



* Assisting an offender

* Child endangerment

* Witholding evidence






And even esther rantzen "knew" he was abusing children, i think she should be summoned to court first.
