I think it was a Maygay machine and they were 'red' before they invented 'Flashing' boards
Talking Itailan Job, Great Escape area, and even Eastenders (which went Blue)
although, I'm not sure what year they came out. Having said that, Boulder Dash, must have been one of the first Barcrests to have IM??

The earliest machines I remember with IM were all Maygays. Queen Vic, It's a Knockout, Trival Pursuit. No idea which of these came first, and there were probably even older machines with some form of IM.
I didn't even know Boulderdash had an IM! Never seen it in the wild or the emulator.

Yeah , thats along the lines that i was thinking .. Donkey Kong cash ladder turning blue.
Although i do remember early JPM machines Camelot being one with the logo going red , and a machine called The Sky's the Limit , also a BFM machine called 'Up for it'
Dont know if they were out at the same time though or the Italian Job etc came later.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know.

Yeah.. It's one of those rare ones, And so did Ooh Aah Dracular with it being a clone.
The emulator one never flashed as the lamping was wrong, but it made a sound at the begining, the same sound as when you get slow motion bonus and mystery

The first Maygay one's to go red or do IM boards were actually The Italian Job (version 1), Eastenders Queen Vic (which turned blue and was very very rare), and On The Buses. Yes, despite giving you the "crash" square everytime you got to the top of the board, OTB actually had an IM feature on it. The other Maygays didn't have flashing boards, it was purely if the machine wanted to pay out the Jackpot, then it would when it felt like it.

It was Eastenders Queen Vic that had IM, Original Eastenders never had IM. It had a great repeat feature on it if you got Queen Vic, Launderette or Fruit Stall feature, plus had a great repeat on 3 blue bars too if you were lucky to catch it at the right time, but never had IM. Oh by the way, just though of another one that had IM, and that was JPM's Pot Of Gold.

Pretty sure Pot of Gold was by Ace. I think it's definitely later than Queen Vic in any case.

Another one to consider- Empire's Money Spinner... Probably the First Empire to have IM, either that or Treasure Trail
