Hi!

I used to play a machine a long time ago & as far as I remember it was called Sky Sports. It was a fruit machine, and was based around a football theme.

All I can really remember is that if you made your way to the top of the board, there was a Football net, I think the goalkeeper was in the middle of the net, with balls that would light up on either side of him (which would have been a goal) or infront of him (which would have been a save) depending on where you stopped the flashing balls. Think it was 25p a spin & a £10 JP.

Does anyone remember this game? I cant think of anything else to describe it atm...

I remember this one. It was indeed called Sky Sports, by BWB. I vaguely remember someone saying this one had unemulated hardware, not 100% on that though.

Very similar to Las Vegas Strip. It was also totally evil!

I was serious! Never had any luck on it at all, maybe just caught it at the wrong times.

That's very very similar andy-1, but its not it. I think the machine I played was more navy & blues than the overall red colour in that machine?

I'm sure the layout is very similar.

It isn't emulated on MFME because it's a BWB MPU4 hi-tech machine.  Would work on Amber without too many problems I would assume.  Still no sound roms as well, which is another stumbling block to it getting emulated.

Any chance of some nice hi res pics and allowing someone to dump the roms?

Amber will run this, MFME will also run this if you copy the CHR numbers from amber into MFME.

Without the sound roms there isn't much point.

Roughly where in the country are you based? Hopefully near someone with a rom dumper.

I'm not that far away I suppose.

If you don't mind I could pop round with a ROM reader, scanner & camera.

If there is some unemulated hardware I can take notes for that too, though I don't see anything that looks unusual.

You say it's spares or repair so what's wrong with it? I have spare parts I could bring if you need anything specific.

Anyone up for doing a DX if resources are available?

I pick it up in the morning :)

I dont mind at all if you want to pop round with your readers etc :)

All I have been told is when it was powered up the alarm used to go off and after a couple of attempts at turning it on and off  it would start up ok but apparently now it will not power up at all so it could be the power pack?? When I get it home I will look to see what if any lights come on on the power pack when it is turned on and go from there :)

I will let you know if I can see anything obvious it requires thank you :)
