Just been playing (the excellent) Club Cops and Robbers
on BFMulator (2.0).

Sometimes when the reels are spinning there's a strange
sound played. It's hard to describe...it sounds like
(this is obscure!) the 1980's arcade game Glaxians
when you kill the 2 red escorting ships and kill the yellow
one (to get max points). :)

It's not the reserve or primary Cashpots increasing....

Has anyone heard this? Anyone know what this is?

...its just happened again. This time I noticed above the
COLLECT button the white panel was lit. It contains writing
I cannot see (res too small).

Any ideas?????

it definitely isn't an error with my soundcard. I'm 99% sure
it's some feature of the game.

I can't read this "white panel" above the collect button as the
res is too small. The panel contains some writing - presumably
explaining this feature.

It's definitely happened after nudges - but I'm _fairly_
sure it's happened outside nudges too. I need to play more
to confirm this.

It doesn't happen frequently - it's a fairly rare feature.

didnt that used to be the 'Press Exchange for a win' light? like a 'Let em Spin' on modern machines, but you had to press exchange?

I.E you have nudges, and bring Cherry, Bar, Cherry, Cherry on the winline...the light flickers, and you press exchange.

You SHOULD get 3 cherries, I think, at least I'm sure thats what I used to do when that happened?

The above comment is spot on. Just push E on keyboard to bring in an automatic win.

What you are referring to is commonly known as a "STOP".

Several BFM club machines (and other manus too) introduced the hold after nudge on clubs initially by getting you to press a button to spin in the win/feature symbols. This was usually a button marked "STOP". Later on, like AWP's this just turned into flash holds.

You will find it on Pharohs Gold for the emulator as well.

Thanks for that. There's something similar on Club Monopoly
(MFME) too.

hi there !! glad you like my layout for CCnR , by the way on the subject of sounds make sure you all download the sound pack addon which was released at a later date than the original CCnR release, this pack contains the original club sound and the relative amendments to the game config file to address these changes. The original release used AWP sound roms, as Club ones where not available at that time - the club roms remedy the incorrect key/nudges and cashpot fill sounds.

Wozza/Duplu - is there anyway u can add this sound pack to the layout hosted on this website guys ? the zip file is contained as a link within my release thread on Poundrun.

Cheers ;)

No problem. I have updated the ZIP file on Fruit-Emu to now include the new sound ROMs and have also uploaded an alternative DX which has the reelband positions included on the layout.

For those of you who just need the new sound ROMs you can download these below. Just unZIP these into the same directory as CCnR or add them to your ccnr.zip file.
