hi everyone, im still looking around for sollutions to some errors im getting when swithing on the machine, eg,  mech note err 1.6 and invalid key 4.6, i thought it was the psu gone bad as it used to play fine until one day i got these  errors that will not clear , so tried  different psu but didnt cure it then brought new mpu board plugged it in too find no change what so ever ,

if any one knows anything about this stuff it would be a great help, also nearly forgot to mention it does not have a note slot fitted. :goofy:Attached File  025.JPG   220.41KB   3 downloads

fixed it, turned out that the new board with battery just needed leaving on 12 hours to charge battery,  and finally i can now sell it working, :)

You was dam lucky with the battery there, as when they leak, it's normally game over for the Epoch board, oddly enough which is the very problem I have with my Simpsons machine right now :(

Have you fly-wired it off the board to cover your arse for future leakage issues?.... If not, do it soon, as I have found out, getting working Epoch board right now is hard, or end up spending a fortune at Stemik's in Burton.

It was a refurb stemik board that I purchased but battery was still flat because must of not been used for a while , iv not fly soldered battery because I'm terrible at soldering , so I'm just going to sell it now and wash my hands of maygay stuff .

The mech note error can be turned off in EPEE by changing a switch, I would say the switch input board is faulty.
