Well yes, the ROMs are available, but no emulators (in the public domain anyway). In a period of time (months or years - most likely years) these will become emulatable. But emu coders tend to wait until a tech has become obsolete before writing an emulator. New techs do not come out very often, but there are meant to be 11/12 techs covered in MFME2.0 (compared to the 5 we have at the moment) about 10 of these are confirmed, but speculation is rife over the last tech - JPM System 5 and MPU5 are the current frontrunners coming from the rumour mill. Now, personally i'd say System 5 is more likely but what do i know, could be neither. Neither Dialtone or Chris Wren are commenting on MFME atm which maybe means MPU5 is in there but who knows. We may never know as the thing has been in design now for over a year.

you can quote me on this there is no chance whatsoever that an mpu 5 emulator(if it even exists) will be released in the near future.

You are correct. They do have emulators. But they are unlikely to give them to the FME community lol

Yes, they have emulators in the sense that they run the machine code through a normal PC [I believe fruit machines are written in Assembly language?], but it is done so to test play style rather than physical features. It is only carried out to make sure that the designers idea of a machine will match the style coded by the programmer.
Such tools will [hopefully!] never be released into the public domain. I'm not going to quote all the reasons why, I'm sure someone else can do that if necessary

Lol, those 3 fruit machines will be out at some point before I go back to college - can't give a date though
The MFME2 will be added here, but I'd guess that the first place it'll be added to will be the MFME site - http://www.mfme.co.uk

Speckled Hen isn't bad, I was on local ales last night, 'Olde Honesty', 'Moulton Mill' and some from larger breweries, 'HSB' by Gales and Sleighbell, not sure which brewery that was though.
I just don't like the usual mass produced beers and lagers
