I have a MacBook too - you just can't beat Apple, can you?
I wish I had brought one all those years ago now, especially when you can still run Windows when you need to - excellent quality products.

To be fair to Microsoft, they don't make their own computers for public use (well, apart from Surface tablets), nor their own monitors, so they will have to use 3rd party ones. Does seem weird picking Apple, but there's no denying that they make a lovely monitor. Also Apple obviously use Intel CPUs these days, in the old days when Apple used Motorola e.t.c. you'd not see anything like this I imagine.
I had several Apple devices, including two iPhones, but wouldn't get another one now. Most recent phone is an Xperia P, cost £125 and does everything I need, nice screen, better touchscreen than my previous Xperia Play (which met a bit of a sticky end in an oven... long story!). Android has caught up to Apple very well on the app front, and I can't really fault the interface.
One thing that annoys me with Apple now is that their early generation products were about pushing the envelope, literally game-changing devices. Now though, they make minor incremental changes and expect people to buy them every year or so, while competitors have overtaken them, in terms of spec at least.

Spot on Bencrest they are just getting greedy now expecting their loyal sheep to keep following but recently even my LOYAL apple loving friends have jumped ship so they need to up their game again IMO.

The last Apple I had was an Apple 2E.
Too expensive now, the good thing is you can at least you can have dual boot with windows to do some serious computing. ( comand line interface). Flash sites are a bit awkward lol.
Yes Bencrest they have got greedy ie updates not backwards compatible. Mr Jobs would'nt like that.
Oh and the next person who says Apple Pc's aren't affected by a virus Ooh !!!
Don't get me wrong I'll get one but ther'e not as marvelous as they make out (for the money at least) There are a lot of new OS's out there challenging Apple's status. Android for one and much much cheaper and much more 'Hombrew' friendly. Complacency has been the downfall of many computer company over the years.

I believe this picture has been doctored with some very clever Photoshoping for a joke.
I doubt very much Microsoft would be seen to promote Apple.
