Also need battery for my Monte Carlo or bust and how bigs ya rock, so need like a bundle pack now lol we will have to meet up for a beer Ben, share some fruit machine memorys. I take it the batts on them are fairly standard

Honestly not sure about the batteries you would need. Assuming you can see the batteries OK, just grab some good photos and look at them on a PC. Otherwise, it'll be a case of removing the boards to make sure (or asking someone who knows what they are talking about, I haven't a clue about older machines!!) :D

As for meeting up for a beer, we may well have to do that :D

BINGO!!

My alien is the only one that is series I think, pacman is mpu 6 SR5i I did try all that yesterday in the alien but won't let me reprogramme it, apparently U need some equipment to reprogramme a coin mech,

Been speaking to a lad named James who called on eBay "supernudgegambler" ?

He's gonna bell me tomoz for a possible solution.
If I hold the button down on the mech with the rotary switch on E the light just stays green, tried it like 10 times yesterday lol

your not doing it right it needs to be in a parrell machine i.e a scorp4 or an normal mpu5. You can`t do it from a serial machine what the E= to is extend/Ext/enable port handle Par to Ser

Perfects a scorp5 (serial machine ) your need an older unit that runs on scorp4 , As for pacman What one barcrest or Mazoma? Mazoma if its the old jpm electra cabnet model which will work on, Even jpm impact or pluto4 stuff done one day infact. What is a handy little number is to make up a loom 12V clean power supply on a par plug thats the big white one mostly common and do em like that.
