After a little help here on which format to save a screen recording in.

At the moment I find the only way to make it watchable is to use MP4 (MPEG-4 video).

If I record a simple 30 second clip its currently saved as a massive 40mb+ file.

My software is PCHand Screen Recorder and the options I have are displayed above.

I could save with the Software i'm comfortable with I suppose then use a 3rd party converter to X,Y,or Z

Any ideas please?

I could Google, but I think i'd trust you guy's more than some odd random links i've seen.

Is it just a different screen recording software your after then Ady.

I dont know much about these things but i know you need all the codecs installed on your system to be able to view and recored in different formats.

VLC player has them all , instead of installing a codec pack.

Just One more Q guy's (excuse the fact i'm a n00b when it come to this).

I'm now given the options of "convert any video to flash format(FLV,SWF,F4V)"

Which of those formats would you suggest?

Being honest they all look similar on quality and size, but whats 'the norm' if that makes sense?

Thanks

EDIT Sorry just reread http://www.fruit-emu...se/#entry246554

I always use my converter (well only three times anyway ;)) and save as .mov - as that is the Mac computer format for Quicktime anyway :)

Most players, on all OS will be able to play in that format, including iDevices mate x
