i was just wondering if anyone could put all the emulators and some roms onto a disc for me as I want to put them onto another pc but cannot be bothered to download everything again
Obviously i will pay for any costs (cost of disc and p+p)

Troutman provides this service. I believe you need to send him two DVD-R's and a stamped jiffy bag. If you PM him he can provide more details.

Yeah I do and do as Duplu suggests.
Of course you could just take your HDD from the machine you have and copy them yourself onto the other PC.... or even use a CD burner meebees...

I got one of his dvd's recently & it was delivered very quickly (within 2 days).
Couldn't have been happier.

Two DVD Rs?
surely there is only about 2 gig of machines around?
or am I missing some lol
Aren't DVDR's 4.7 GiG or something?
Unless the 2 are (one for the machines) and one for the user, for providing a fine service.
(maybe Troutman can put tips on the DVD telling us how to diesgn as well as they do )
if it IS a lot more than whats avaliable on this site, I 'may' be interested too

Although I can't fully remember, I'm assuming it is the same as ordering MAME DVDs - basically you send off 2x as many DVDs as are necessary, and these either end up
a) Being used in the event of a failed burn, or
Taken as payment for the copying service.
Either way, as you are not 'paying' for any ROMs, you can't get in any trouble [well, not as much anyway ].

Nope both DVDs are used, granted you might get away with 1 DVD and 2 CDRs at a push but it is easier and cheaper postage wise to send 2 DVDs. I send every layout that has every been publically released with all versions of every layout renamed for identification purposes and all roms, even the unemulated roms. Usually if there is any space left over I put the full collection of screenshots on so if you want to see what a layout looks like you can.
You might (which I can do and will check for sizes) get a 'ready to go' set on one DVD but I think you will be pushing it. That is all layouts unzipped into one big folder with all the required roms.
Hope that clears that up. :-)
So all you do is PM me, get my address sent 2 DVDs return postage and a SAE so I can send them back. I always send them back the day I receive them but of course if this is a weekend it might take a little longer.

You are truly a giant amongst men, Troutmen. And I mean that.
