Thought I'd better take a break from the arcade games and actually make my first post.

ok, I know a few guys who have premises, kebab house and an industrial estate unit, both of which get plenty of customers passing through (I run my business from home so no good for me, but)

would it be legal for me to "borrow them" or "allow the use of" a few fruit machines on their property? (I suppose there would be the need for a gaming license but what can they cost?)

if not legal, what's the chances of being caught?
if caught what's the penalty for both partys?

sorry if off topic, go easy I'm a virgin poster! 8O lol.

I believe the license for a small arcade of £25, £15 jackpots is around £15,000 (i use to know the manager of a small Shipleys). But for £5 jP's you don't need a license, can anyone confirm that?

I would be very careful as the town where i live all the taxi ranks and chippies, kebab houses have all been raided in the last few months.
Well I jumped into the river
Too many times to make it home
I'm out here on my own, an drifting all alone
If it doesn't show give it time
To read between the lines

seems to me like there are too many laws concerning who's allowed to operate them and where they can be sited but not enough regulating the way the machines actually play
