Hi guys, just joined and already looking for advice please !

Over weekend I purchased a 'Dough Ho Ho' slottie, after correctly floating it/dumping,we then locked it all up OK,no problems there, worked like a dream for approx 4 hours of game play.

Next morning, when we come to get in machine, the top door lock('barrel type'),appears/well not appears,IT IS out of alignment, definitely !!),managed to manoevure key,JUST, to open top door,dumped/floated correctly again, then slid across bar and carefully locked up.

Then had to pop out,so powered machine off,but when we returned and powered up again alarm going off saying 'Door Unlocked',immediately I checked lock/slide bar, both still firmly in place though??

So now,we are stuck with machine which is fully floated up,but cannot use it :(

I thought if I could by-pass the door switch somehow??Not too sure where to start really there?

I did dis-connect all 4 wires on door switch to see if that fooled it by thinking it was locked up properly, still saying Door Open, also tried taping Door Switch to where it's housed, again though, same problem :(

I know there must be a way to disable this, anybody able to help me on this one,be VERY much appreciated. :)

Doesn't have to be securely locked as it's only for home use,but don't want it on free-play.

Hopefully, some tekkie minded kind soul will take pity on me and tell me what to do/where I'm going wrong :)

 Thanks in advance guys/girls

 Steve

Sounds Like There Is A Switch That The Tongue Of The Lock Hits/Push Once Locked
(Its Its Saying Door Unlocked Rather Than Door Open)

Its Located Below The Back Of The Locking Barrel (Your See It Should Hit This Switch When Locked)
Best Thing Is Slide The Bar In The Locking Position & Ensure This Switch Is Being Pushed

Possible - Lose Fitting Or Lose Cable On This Switch

If This Helps Please Like :) - Its Good To See That Ive Been Of Some Help :)

Tryed To Find An Google Image To Show You Exsactly Where It Is - But There Aint Any .. Its Clear When Your Lookign For It

Sorry not been able to get to my PC or lappy for last day or so,been struck down with really bad stomach bug.

Before I dis-connected wiring to switch,i did number each one on plastic clip ensuring they went back on as should be.

Yeah, there is a weird locking mechanism just below slide bar,I'm going to try post pic of this, please bear with me on this one,PC technology ain't my strong point LOL.

I have managed to upload a pic of door switch, not sure where it went too, although I did select BellFruit' images, hopefully this will be of some help.

Just had a look at the sliding bar and lock it pushes down on the door switch,it appears it only will fit on one of two ways, but I'm more or less certain it never reached the door switch when all was well !

Right, this is doing my head in,something so flamin' simple, yet I cannot figure this out.

I reckon best thing to do is just order a new lock eh?Hopefully this SHOULD solve this problem?

But even if lock is changed I can't see how this little bar/lever that moves when locking mechanism is slid across will make contact with door switch tbh,but I guess fitting a new lock will at least be that bit closer to getting me going again eh??
