Hi

after my complete disaster with Poker Face fruit machine, i have got

Barcrest - SuperTubes - £4 jackpot

Anyhow there are four payout tubes

10p , token , 50p and £1 9 (in that order)

basically the 10p and 50p tubes do not payout, the cash out meter updates but nothing,

it is a MPU4 board in it, anyhow

has anyone got any ideas??

Also I would like to convert it to new 50p, I also have ACE poundstrecher that needs converting to new 50ps too

Thanks in advance for your help (fingers crossed)

If the machine is counting out the coins, and you hear a  kinda buzzing noise

it's possibly the "soldenoids" wires have came loose.

so best to check those first.

i had the same error years ago on an old machine i used to own.

Try swapping the connections from the working tubes to the non-working ones

You can then determine if it is the solenoid faulty or the board.

If you have a multimeter, test the connections to the solenoids as they pulse - put it in test mode - they should be around 50v.

First thing with the board is to check if the battery has leaked - probable - and see if there is any damage to transistors T12 - T19 and triacs TR1 to TR8

Photo's will help

Fuse.

I think you need a 7.5v 5amp. Just take your fuse out the power supply. You will see one has exploded.

I'd ruled that out as he says "SOME" of the tubes are not paying. If it was the fuse, all of the tubes wouldn't pay :indifferent:
