Getting issues with no new posts appearing other than from ones in threads I am subscribed to, and also none of the users avatars are showing.
Any idea what the crack is?

I couldn't tell you mate, other than I am having issues when logging in with my mobile on 3 Network, except for when using Opera Mini, and the avatars don't show up on IE 8, 9 or 10 for me on Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 on Windows BootCamp and my old Windows dual-core PC.
everything works fine on my Mac OS X however...

Yup I'm having random trouble on iPad, iPhone, windows laptop, via wifi and via 3G.. So nothing to do with ip's.. Tried different browserson iPhone, iPad and laptop, no difference.. So I'm thinking this problem is server side... Not our side..

Like now Daryl, I did not know about the post you just made here, till I went in and looked at my previous posts.
It seems as soon as you log in your browser or Settings here are marking the forums as read.... have you checked your User Settings mate because I don't have this issue on any device or computer

Have never changed the settings in this respect at all (Apart from between the content I have not read / to past 24 hrs setting), and also this don't explain missing avatars too.

It seems that some users are getting random blackouts eg not connecting to server,.. And some are having this mark forum read trouble..

Right, for some odd reason, my view settings got changed somehow (I used MPU Mecca to compare settings), and found in the OTHER section, Just items I follow was marked but not at the mecca, so changed that, and I can now view new posts as before, but Avatar's / Image attachments are still not showing for some reason..... however that I can live with for now
Is there a general restore default settings link somewhere in my account I can use?
I get a feeling that a possible upgrade etc to this forum, may have messed up settings generally for some users, so wondering if Alan can keep watch on this?
