Just came across a Casino Viva Mexico 10p play £5 Jackpot for sale today at £35 (buy collects). I don't have the means to collect it, otherwise i would have bought it on the spot.

The machine is in Dereham, right in the middle of Norfolk, in a Diner/Arcade. It's in good condition exterior wise and is bolted to a large wooden plinth containing the money box and meters. The owner switched on the machine and it booted up OK. He has the keys ,the flyers and looks like the £25 jackpot decals in the plinth. The machine has just been unplugged ready for sale.

The machine has been working in the arcade which is in a different room to the diner/cafe.

Looks like a Bellfruit scorpion4 ?? It must be worth it for parts.

A van and a sack barrow is needed, access to the arcade is no problem.

Here are some pics i took with my phone sorry about the quality.

I asked the owner and he said it was OK to post on here. Anyone interested I can PM. his phone number and exact location to you.

Not sure Vecs. £35. Bargain. Absolutely p***ed off it wouldn't fit in the motor. Looks like 4 bolts securing the plinth, accessed from inside the fruit machine to split it, plus connectors etc.. Grrrrrrrrr!!!

I've contacted the seller and put my name down on this, so *hopefully* I'll be picking it up tomorrow. It's 50 miles each way for me, and will be my longest drive so far (previous longest has been Kings Lynn and back, 35 miles each way).

I don't have access to any way of scanning the glasses, but I do have an SLR camera and a tripod, so I'll take loads of photos and see what I can do. I'd like to make a layout first (1080p or so), and will then throw the photos out to anyone who wants to have a crack at it for say a 1024.

Obviously that's assuming all goes according to plan. Going to go solo, just me and a sack barrow. Don't try this at home - I'm a big lad and have once dropped a machine on myself doing this, but luckily both the machine and I weighed the same and it all seemed to cancel out :D

Regarding ROMs - Ideally, unless I break the machine for spares, I'd rather not remove the ROMs for dumping. I could recover the £35 by selling spares from it, but it would be a shame to break a working machine like that. My Bar X on the other hand has got a date with my 10lb hammer if it doesn't start working soon :@

nice one bencrest i've the roms from ht6 but can't get em to run in the blank dat file which one do i need, i know its scorp4 but which one

also as for a layout if you keep part of the box on the layout as in tommy,s crazy fruits and some of dads lo-tech1280wdx's it is just playable on laptop to minus the box so might not need a re-dx to 1024dx

This is a dire machine ben mate but at £35 you can't turn your nose up at a bargain like that,It doesn't play the same as crazy fruits or mazoomas line dancer,it's a royal; pain in the arse.

Sounds interesting! Possibly why I've not seen one before now?

I actually have a soft spot for horrible machines. I'm just hoping it saves up for good streaks and doesn't just do a flat £25 every time! :)

It's in really good condition and the boss at the cafe/arcade really looks after his machines. Hope it can be of use to someone and the FME as well.

Noticed in the plinth some flyers which could be useful, also £25 decals.

For that money the motherboard is worth it, be shame to break it.

The reels move, it lights up and the yellow dot matrix display goes through the usual diagnostics.

Still upset I couldn't get in the car :bigeyes24: :bigeyes24: :bigeyes24:.

Ben try the breakfast while your'e there. Brilliant.
