Apparently the original creator of BFeMulator is back posting again over at Fruit Forums, which is a turn up for the books as he had disappeared off the planet for yonks with a request to not be contacted. Guess they all come back in the end.
Am I the only person posting on this thread? Are people keen to hear this shite, or don't they give a damn either way? I can easily STFU if that is what peeps want.

I'm very interested BJ, trouble is I have no valid input to the topic.
I can just picture the scene if.......and only IF.....something was released/leaked the FME sites would go into meltdown.......can you image all those releases that are sitting in the release stage platformless <-- is that a proper word?.

Just to add that Re-Animator (the author of BFMulator) has only posted on FruitForums to plug a friends Android OS game (no, not even a fruit machine game). Don't expect anything FME related to come of it, pretty sure he's not publically willing to offer anything due legal threats (I think he received legal threats?) a few years back.

A newer emulator that could run mpu5 hoppers etc, Would probably break FE with all those downloads... It would make deal or no deal possible...

OK I just logged back into FF for the first time in years to see for myself, 333 unread threads
Good to see Re-A back and glad you asked the question Ben, someone had to. I cannot remember legal threats, but there was a lot of NDA being bandied about, but I recall that was DT. Re-A seemed to disappear into the ether quicker than £10 into a Bar-X on auto-play and 30p a spin.
It looks like he COULD be interested in doing something, but clearly anything would be a long way off as he'd be starting from scratch.
Anyhow any more rumours or straws I find I'll keep posting them as people do seem interested.

Would he though? I thought he had Scorpion 4 sorted way before we got the 'leaked' MFME 9.4.
Scorpion 4 being in MAME makes things interesting though. I've no idea of what Astra / Novomatic will be like as owners of Bell Fruit Games when it comes to emulation. Suffice to say they are a pretty huge company in the Casino industry and they will probably be complete cocks.

Yes he did, I had confused myself with is posting on FF about not knowing how to code on the Android platform, hence the "from scratch" comment. It is just good to see an emulator writer posting again on one of the FME forums, and I am using that term loosely here. At least he remembered where we were.
