You can always haggle, or offer to trade outside of eBay. Don't forget eBay fees are 10%, then you lose another 3% or so for Paypal. Issue with this though is that you waive your eBay protection

Never used Star Leisure myself but the prices don't seem that bad, certainly when compared to Stemik Gaming :D

@ big balls

BUSTED!! Lol

eBay fees.. ** shudders** sell one machine for a couple hundred and a month later pay £20.. Nightmare.
Several times I've had people haggle on price and I say well send me the cash via PayPal, or deposit and cash on collection.. Then just end the auction early.. Saves a hell of a lot of money.. But then I also lose on my feedback :(

Hi Lee ( Bigballs )

You sent me a private message just in March asking for me to get you a 3 player and i replied stating i dont get them in much due to the space they waste for the amount they are sold for.

Best wishes

Stu.

I will probably buy a newer game off Starleisure this Christmas cos although I'm into the older ones I quite like a few of the newer ones.  I remember asking in the past if they delivered, but at the time they didn't because they like to be able to physically repair the machine and oversee it if need be.  I now see they do deliver :)  I've had some right shite off eBay in the past. All that BS about a 32 point check with engineers from other dealers and when one machine arrived the reel lamps were hanging off.  Amongst other things being rusty.

I don't mind paying a premium for a premium machine in good nick.

I bought a fruit machine from star leisure about 6 months ago, its a barcrest count ya cash. the machine was not over priced at all and it arrived very quickly. when I got my machine I was amazed with the quality of the machine. it was mint and spotlessly clean inside and out, infact I thought it was brand new. the machine is played most days and ive never had a single problem at all.

star leisure give a fantastic service imo and I wouldn't buy from anywhere else

You all moan about star leisure but not one of you has mentioned "Andys Amusements" In Hunstanton where every machine is worth £500 including a £5jp Monopoly, Comes with free delivery though lol Id expect it to be full and refilled on request for his prices lol

every machine he has listed has been put at £500

I thought that about that seller a while ago when I kept seeing machines get listed for £500. But then a machine I wanted came up for sale, and again was up for £500. but they all have a make offer button. So I put a much lower offer in and he messaged me and asked for just a little bit more and we agreed a good price in the end. went to collect and the bloke is actually a really decent guy. he has a tiny arcade with a few classics in and spent ages talking about machines etc. god knows why he lists all for £500 though because he has never sold one for that price or even close yet!

The arcade would be even better if they didn't play all their machines after hours lol. I've been in there and walked past late and seen him playing em. Shame as with the classics they used to have it would be a good little arcade

Ahh, you see I didn't know that bit. Took things at face value and he seemed a decent bloke. He did say some of the more recent machines don't make him any money so is selling them. Now I know why. Also know why it had no-one in there when I was in there lol.

Andy was the chap who let me all those flyers about 10 years ago for emulation. Hundreds of them.

He had a great arcade back in the day.Always had good token machines and still does from time to time have a classic or two in there.
