Hi can someone help me, I tried to play Double the party from reels of fun and it wont open. instead I get this message

 

 

 

I checked and I already have this DLL file in my computer, ive done a registry scan and even installed a new DLL file of same name but im STILL getting this message

Try a system restore back a few days, it worked for me when I had that problem last year.

What have you altered on your machine?.....do you understand what a DLL is?

ady I haven't got a clue!!! DLL file is something which works a program or process I think, hope you can fill me in if you know.

you need to speak to fruitman69 who is the guy you bought it off. that said, you could just register the DLL

I looked into how to register the file just as you mentioned. and now all is fine and all 5 games work normally

My reels of fun double the party got corrupt a while ago so I re download the trial and got the game working again but every now and then the game freezes and errors so having to restart game again

If you had re installed the game from the installer it would have registered the file for you

Common problem with dll files, to which there is a common fix, especaly when the de-register themselves.

 

Open up a dos prompt, type in the following.....

 

regsvcr32 filename.dll

 

If it works it will tell you, but if it's missing you could try grabbing the file from http://www.dll-files.com/ place the replacement file in the System32 folder, and try the above again.

 

More about the regvcr32 trick here, with info out it works on 64 bit operating systems too.
