Gave this monolith a good look today, here are some pics. Worth a visit, unless you've got vertigo or a fear of heights.

How much did it cost? Might be taking my 7 year old on a trip to london he has no fear of white knuckle rides so this might test his nerves haha. Great to do a panoramic if its possible. I did go stand next to it last summer and its huge and was in the train station just to the bottom of the photo and that building was towering over us.

Went on a coach trip which included tea and sarnies at a nearby restaurant.

Here's the Shard site, everything is branded as 'The View'. I think admission is about £25. Bit pricey, but you are visiting the UK's tallest structure and it's only been open a couple of months. Take a camera and keep it as close to the glass, otherwise you will get a reflection. Stunning views and the computerised binoculars are free to use.
