Being new to all of this after watching a you tube video on extended rio cabinets I'm about to buy one from star leisure getting a good deal on it. While watching the video it states that you can download bpak image files on to your machine what it doesn't state is where from and how so I'm asking that question here. So when I get my machine I will know exactly what to do and where to go for new games when I want them. can someone be very nice and offer me a step by step guide so I dont bugger the hard drive straight away Thanks Pelham

Ps I also was wondering if you want to download Barcrest bpak image files do you need to download something first from Barcrest to allow you to do this?

Thanks once again for any assistance on this matter.

I'm not being funny here, but it's easier to keep track if you stick to one thread for the same machine, then people can follow it and you yourself won't lose track of any help offered....... which brings me to my second point

I've already offered everything you're asking for, both on here, and in your thread over at the Mecca, which I'm presuming you've read, as you were on there at 4.30pm today.

Plus I gave advice in your other thread on here earlier today regarding the 'mark' of pc that the machine has in it.

So far you haven't replied, or acknowledged anything, this is really not the way to go about getting info and resources for free :nah:

To chasnbons and nails All I can say is sorry for repeating myself but when your a newbie then you need to be told several times before you get things right. I know have a few bpak files to put on my new machine when i get it from the resources folder. Let me give you a second apology here to the both of you before I ask the next daft question. Even though I've just got a few files from the resources folder and put them on my usb stick to install when I buy the machine this weekend. My question is where did they get them in the first place. Hopefully you'll get what i mean when I ask this. Now for a third and last apology for my complete newbie ignorance all I want is to know where to go to get more bpak files so I can choose my own games. Yours Newbie Pelham

The problem isn't that you're or or that you're repeating things.

The problem is, that you didn't reply to any of the offers of help, you just continued asking questions, apart from once last night, you haven't acknowledged anything I've put, to try and help you.

You say you now have some bpaks..... make sure they are the ones that will run on your machine, BEFORE adding them to your HDD, or else you'll knacker it.

AFAIK all the available bpaks that will run on a rio cab are on cliffs repro (I upped everything I had)

You shouldn't ask where people get stuff from, all that matters is they have them and are good enough to share them with other members.

I also get the feeling that some of the games you want (Rocky for instance) are for 777 cabs and won't run on a rio.

People spend hours and hours looking for things to add to resources so it isn't really fair to expect them to give you the info without a second thought.

If you can't find what you want round these parts, then I suggest you do some of the leg work yourself and start searching like others have to.

I thought the idea of using a forum was to share info and help each other, not tell people to go look for themselves when they clearly have no idea what they are doing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes you are correct, but when you have already explained to that user via multiple threads/replies and personal mails it does tend to get tedious.

he had every idea of what to look for and how to find them, i even offered to send him a CD packed full of the info he required, but it wasnt good enough for him.

i hope that satisfies your question.
