Thanks to all that helped me try and solve the problems I had, but it come the point where I was pulling my hair out, tried changing the varta battery, no good, had the power supply checked, no good, checked every single chuffing wire for dead ends etc, no good. A sad end I hear you say, nope my youngest daughter bumped into a geek, (sorry a very educated fruit machine engineer, thirteen years in the bee's knee's) that knew the inside of a rat's rear. Come to the house with the biggest box of Impulse cpu's mother board's coin selectors etc you've ever seen. Anyway's three hours later one fixed and serviced fruit machine to the tone of a hundred smackers.

1. Modern coin selector.

2. New coin board.

3. New main mother board. MPE (i think he said)

3. And a wire that shouldn't have been there which kept the machine from firing up in the first place, GRRRRRRR.

Expensive repair, would have been cheaper to buy a working one in the first place me thinks.....

Glad you got it sorted in the end!

It's such a shame there's some excellent machines on EPOCH, and yet the hardware is has proven so problematic, and is now proving expensive to source. Just enjoy it, and for god's sake keep an eye on the battery on the mainboard!! :)
