Is the alpha fixable or is it a problem with the ROM ?
it should be fixable fairly easily if its the same machine as his earlier 1024 version i,m sure mr C will look into it

i,ve found out whats missing even on a laptop its the 7seg "16" there,s supposed to be 5 digits on the cash part
it,ll be the same problem on your earlier 1024dx version too
