Hi Guys, loving the site, and the fantastic work you do with all the emulators! but now I really need some help with my 'real' fruit machine......

Basically, a couple of months ago I had a problem with the fruit machine resetting itself, and not fully coming on.... this i traced back to the Stadium Power supply ( for scorp. 4) I cured it for a while, by turning the power pot up slightly..... worked fine for 2 months, and now back where i started....

Basically, does anyone have any spare scorpion 4 power supplies? any going cheap, or know where one can obtain the power supply for a reasonable price?

Many Thanks

David

As above the seller is a top bloke.

Hi David,

The way to test if this is your Power supply fully is by metering out your 5v under load - Buying another Power supply could just give you the same issues due to every supply being set up a touch different for every machine dependent on reels, lamps and extras.

But only use a meter if you know what your doing as you could cause more damage if not.

Did you adjust the 12v pot or 5v pot on your psu?

Best wishes

Stu.

Hi David,

Its the 5v pot that triggers the reset - Some have this pot some dont as it was added on at a later date.

Best wishes

Stu.
