i finally got the 25 pound fircracker machine which i have been looking for, for months and i had endless replies saying this was un available and i wouldnt be able to get it but since i recieved the 250 pounds firecracker machine i have again had endless amount of messages from people who had the originial firecracker wanting to trade.and i think this is totally stupid!! i will not be freely sending out my new machines but if theres any one out there with new or unreleased machines i will be willing to trade as i have now found out that this is the only way to get them!!

'for months I've been told...'

You've only been posting for 3 days?!

lol.....Ady didn't lock this thread before I replied :)

I don't understand why you've posted this again after it was deleted by a moderator? I think I was right with my Schadenfreude post, in that you will not 'give' these layouts to other people [probably for the best], but will post in this manner, apparently impressed with the fact you withhold banned layouts?

Come on Ben... I need a 'little' more proof than a JPG image.

Anyone can get those, I could claim to have Club Psycho Cash Beast but not let anyone have it! :p

so I ask you Peter... Attach the JPM file (it'll only be 1KB) you'll find it in the folder your 'so called' machine is (you may need to Zip it as I'm not sure they'll let you attach jpm files)

if THAT checks out (don't worry you won't be giving us the machine)

THEN I'll believe you, (as will others)

Why can't people be happy with emu's of older machines, which is what this site is here for anyway?????

Agreed :)

I'm rather partial to £Stretcher at the moment :D

I just don't understand why he refers to the 2 banned layouts he has as 'HIS' layouts, and as to why, now he has them, he wants to exchange them for other banned layouts.

I wonder if he realises that theres only about 2 new machines he is missing out on? [Other banned ones include Empire releases, which moved onto the MPU5 tech several years ago]

Cheers for correcting me Ady, nothing against the store either :)

*Dae wonders....* How do the Mods do it???

Do they have 100 little windows open to see ALL posting?

adydb and Fruitymad2003 are on the ball when it comes to regular posters making mistakes.

We don't even get a chance to edit it before they're there :p :p :p

P.S. Thanks Peter for the inspiration for my new pic :)

Why are they banned layouts? Vindaloot and Your Lucky Knight have been released and they were made by JPM and ACE in 2002. Firecracker was released in July 2003 and runs on impact technology so should be ok.

I'm confused, as these are the release dates I have :

Vindaloot - July 2002 [Within 3 Years]
Firecracker - April 2003 [Within 2 Years]

Both of these, according to dates from JPM, fall foul of the 3 year rule...?

I also thought that Your Lucky Knight [Although I have no date to verify], was released in 2003 or maybe even 2004?

Yup, they can be, although shouldn't be :)

Enough has been said on this topic in the past though so I'll leave it there :)

Your Lucky Knight was originally released by JPM in 2002 but it failed test AFAIK. For some reason it appeared on ACE's website last year.

Firecracker is a taboo subject as the machine itself is under 3 years old, there is no problem with the emulation I suspect, just respect for the authors/JPM themselves

Firecracker DX can be downloaded from here.

http://fruits.excellentcontent.com/

Not a bad layout, and not a bad machine, for a £25er.

Not sure who decided it was "banned".......

It WAS by ACE...JPM released it 2 years prior and it failed test....our local arcade had one back then clearly badged as JPM, it has just left the arcade after being dropped to 10p/£5 for 9 months or so
