Hi everyone,

I have a QPS Cash Lab Fruit Machine that I need to get rid of due to space constraints. I have 2 machines in total, and this one needs to go!

I am very reluctant to just scrap it, because I think it's a shame to do this so would rather give it away to someone else who can get some enjoyment from it!

I have all keys etc and it is set to £5 JP and is fully working.

It has been outside for a while, covered up well, but the bottom of the cabinet has swelled a bit from ground water, but it is fully working.

I am based in Nottingham and whoever wants to come and collect it, can have it completely FREE.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions - I can get some photos if required.

Yeah I need it gone fairly soon really. I have just taken the cover off it as it's been covered for a while and it looks like the heat has done some damage to the artwork on the bottom reel glass, and it's a little more swelled up at the bottom than I thought.

There's a pic here for you: http://magga.co.uk/images/photo.JPG

Let me know if you want anymore photos.

It did last time I tried it yeah, so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't now. I can try it for you if you're really interesed in taking it off my hands though.

I just don't want to scrap it, seems a shame.

I'd love to keep it, but I just don't have the room, so reluctantly, it's got to go :(

It was in absolutely perfect condition before it was left outside under a cover, didn't realise the heat would do that damage to the artwork on the bottom reel glass :( Feel free to use the image!

Magga, how close are you to Sawley / Long Eaton, and provided transport costs is covered, would you be able to bring it down?

Banditboy is having issues storing it short term, but I maybe able to help.

Hi Stan,

Am about 30 mins from Long Eaton, I wouldn't be able to bring it down though as don't have a van, so it would need to be collected, or a courier arranged to collect it.

Sounds like you are towards Mansfield area then (Pretty much where Banditboy is), so not as local as I thought..... He's having a look now at what he can do with transport, storage, etc.

I actually would take it for myself, but I would part it out for other projects (I don't like the game for one thing), so I'll let someone else have the chance first, plus the fact I don't drive myself, also noting that Banditboy is not as local as I thought he was LOL.

Will say though as you are not that difficult to get to on bus (One of the Mecca lads is very close to you @ Mapperly Top), if you ever get a machine issue you are stuck with, I could always pop over.

It's a great machine when it streaks! Ideally I'd rather give to someone who's not going to break it for parts, as I could do that myself and make a bit of money from it. I Just don't like the idea of all these older machines disappearing for good! I'm too nostalgic lol.

Cheers for that, I've got a Big Brother machine still which is in really good condition (bar the bottom lamp holder plastic falling off the bottom reel glass - seems a common problem this. The only other strange thing about it is that it makes a clicking noise (more noticeable when all the lamps are flashing in demo mode). I think this is coming from the PSU?

My all time favourite machine (which Big Bro is a clone of) is Psycho Cash Beast. I did have one but it was in pretty poor condition so I was going to attempt to restore it. Unfortunately I took it apart, then never had the time to do it, so it ended up being sold for parts :( Still would like to get hold of one really to replace my Big Brother machine one day but can never seem to find them on eBay etc.

There is one on ebay at the moment, but it's set on £70 jackpot.

It's Psycho Cash Beast 2 though, and whilst I am very tempted, I think I would rather have the original.

policematrix - I just want it to go to a good home! I will keep it until I can find someone to take it off my hands but it needs to be sooner rather than later!

Still no takers for this fruity? It's FREE!

I don't want it to go to the arcade in the sky, but it looks like this may end up happening if I can't find a taker soon :(
